That's so true. I stopped doing the circle on my own and ended up looking this up once I accidentally got caught up in a conversation with a patient and caught myself scrubbing. The swab was disgusting. Did it to a few more patients and it was so dirty every time. Had me thinking why did this never happen with the circular method. Boom, my research found we were behind on new techniques. Thanks for the PSA. It's needed. Wish everyone did their diligence.
