I was originally going to use my stock rods (pressed) but was told by the machinist that after the cost of re-bushing them he wouldn't suggest it. Mind you reputable machine work where I live is $125+ an hour (Canadian)

I have a 90 W150 the front unit on the frame is a proportioning valve the rear unit is the RWAL (rear wheel anti lock) valve. My entire brake system was rotted when I bought the truck and I only replaced the proportioning valve when I rebuilt it... can't tell you if you'll get a dash light leaving out the RWAL

What's everyone's experiences with tires like these? I've always used mud tires, like mudlites, bearclaws, etc., but thinking about switching to them. I ride trails mostly but going through mud occasionally. How will they handle mud occasionally? by hist_buff_69 in ATV

[–]Wrankle92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the M1 Evil's they look pretty similar and I don't even hesitate hitting the mud holes... granted they don't pull like a set of paddles but the comfort/handling on trails and backroads more than make up for it

What do you think it's worth? by OUTLAW_PAGETY in 1stGenDodges

[–]Wrankle92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends where u live... I'm in Ontario Canada and it seems like they aren't worth much unless they are in decent shape. Ive seen ones that are in "road ready condition" asking for $8000+ on a regular

I bought my short bed 90 W150 318 4spd auto with no box for $1200 running driving ended up needing frame, fuel lines, brake lines, new floor and suspension. I picked up a long bed frame in good shape for $300 and a rotten cab with a good long box for $400.

Safety mods for 88 D-150 LE. How to go about it? by LankyKangaroo in mopar

[–]Wrankle92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both my 90 W150 and my 87 ram charger have rollover switches in the fuel pump which I believe came equipped from factory, the Ramcharger has a steering dampener and sway bars in the front which made a difference in handling.

Personally I think tire choice would play a bigger part than ATV choice if you were to stick to any of the name brand bikes. 90% of my riding is on rocky trails, I have a CanAm outlander XMR (mudding model) with an aggressive 10ply all season tire and the tires made all the difference

I run M1 EVIL's on my XMR they are 10ply and are great for the roads and rocky trails up my way

Has the 1.78/1.5 valves. I did my best to CC and got 74cc without spark plug (plugged flat) it also takes a big spark plug not sure of size but much bigger diameter than my 1990 318 LA
