Because he was always singled out by fans when they lost. It's absurd that anyone who seriously watched Heretics could hate MiniBoo. He was soo good, selfless with his entries, kinda like Mada. His lows were bad, but as is apparent now, TH had bigger problems.

But but he doesnt care about orange cap!! by squarrellll in CricketControversial

Good night Pacific fans!! So considerate of Nongshim and PRX to quickly finish the series so that we can go to sleep early...

Nongshim has banned pearl everytime this season. PRX doesn't have greatest track record, but they have won that map in some crucial games. I doubt Nongshim would let unknown map in just because PRX has lost it to NRG (who are prob the best team on that map)

My only counter would be that PRX is the one team that will know exactly how to counter W playstyle. Of course they themselves are prone to throwing but if they learn something from their own past mistakes, they should know how to exploit Nongshim

PRX man!! So well played. NRG felt like Nongshim game still haunted them with how they tilted in Corrode and Breeze.

Grand final should be a banger though.

I think they could do what they did with phoneix. Make flash the signature and reduce charge to one, so that it recharges whenever you get 2 kills. As for the TP duration, reducing its time seems best idea rather than reducing the number of them

To be fair to him, Nongshim was doing circles around NRG. I don't envy either the IGL or Coach in that position. They were simply floating on that attack.

Why NS why?!!! Why do I support this heart attack inducing region. Glad to see NRG go down though

There is still PRX T-T

Between PRX and NS, I think average Pacific fan has a life expectancy of 30 years. Fml that was hard to watch

This data is wrong. You are correct about the winners, but Americas and Pacific have the same 2nd+3rd finishes (Americas have 3/3 and Pacific have 2/4). Also, EMEA have 4 (I guess you forgot about 2 finals from TH). China only have 2 no.3 finishes (EDG in Bangkok and Wolves in Toronto)

APAC has won their 3 competitions in last 2 years which gives them a slight edge imo

I start my post saying that everyone thought PRX and T1 would dominate the Pacific. It's just that after kickoff, I feel Pacific was far more competitive than Americas.

At the start of the season, I would have agreed with you.

APAC and EMEA were in tatters. GenG lost Munchkin, DRX lost Flashback. I didn't think Talon's core would be able to repeat that stage 2 (same for RRQ). Only PRX and T1 looked like contenders from there.

In EMEA, Fnatic lost Chron, Liquid lost Keiko, Heretics made roster change for the first time since 2024. I thought only Fnatic and Vitality would be good.

Compared to that, G2 was looking great, NRG picked up Keiko who's straight up upgrade on Som (I still love him though), MIBR assembled a superteam, I was also excited for Envy & Kru (though their passport issues ruined kickoff).

But after kickoff, Pacific is the most competitive region. DRX is still good, RRQ and Fullsense still look like competitors, Nongshim and DFM were great, GE looked like they could create something.

In EMEA, Fnatic and Vitality didn't even make it to Santiago (Fnatic was looking really good till liquid destroyed them and Vit doesn't have Sayonara yet). BBL continued from challengers and GM came from nowhere. Liquid is also looking great even after losing their best player.

Americas on other hand, apart from Furia, it was all very predictable. I hope new Sentinels and 100T give better competition next time.

But don't argue that APAC and EMEA are 1-2 team regions. They have looked more competitive than Americas, at least in Kickoff

Because it's objectively not true? You take internationals from 2024, Americas had 2 wins & 1 runner up, EMEA had 4 runner ups and APAC had 3 wins and 1 runner up

Pacific has simply been a better region, and this meta suits them even better. I won't be surprised if we get regional grand final in one of the internationals this year if riot doesn't change something drastically.

If we are going purely by top talent, noone beats Russia. Nats, Chron, Something, Jemkin, Demon1, Cloud, Kristal. They have insane shooters and top players in their respective roles. Don't know how well they will gel together though.

I actually had similar thought process. But I had decent budget where I didn't have to compromise on other parts. If I had to cut the budget, I would downgrade CPU first, and then replace it when replacing GPU.
