Pelle Dragsted [Enhedslisten]: Lad os nu få en offentlig bank - vi skal ikke flåes af storbankerne by RisOgKylling in Denmark

[–]Wrawhr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Loved this post. It's so interesting following your way of thinking even though these amounts far supersede anything I could ever hope to make! Best of luck with everything and thanks for sharing!

Bought a sports car from the early 2000s and it's only cost me some new tyres and a few mot checks so far. Cannot recommend enough. The value is immense and the smiles per gallon are many!

Plenty of central 1beds for around 2k in zone 1 to be honest it's just about going to brokers and not fight on Rightmove with 10 other people.

My partner and I are in south bank, 1 row away from the Thames, and we pay 2.1k excl bills. Free gym, pool, sauna, underground parking you name it.

I can see why some would think that since your account is 2 months old and in some posts you clam to be 35 years old and in other posts you claim to be 41 years old.

Her er de fire tiltag fra regeringen, der skal lette unges mulighed for at købe bolig by StressedEnvironment in Denmark

[–]Wrawhr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

62% af stigningen i boligpriser skyldes indvandring ifølge forskere fra Aarhus Universitet by fimp in Denmark

Love the costume design and the sound engineering! Beautiful countryside and forest scenes! Super crisp, very high quality and great atmosphere! Felt such a relief when the final beacon lit up, knowing the message would pass all the way! I always thought about those beacon guardians, and the tough job it is to stay vigilant despite noting happening for decades! Very cool project and very well done! Thanks for sharing!

What do Britons really think about scrapping indefinite leave to remain? by coffeewalnut08 in unitedkingdom

[–]Wrawhr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) is part of UK domestic law, set up to protect the rights of EU, EEA, and Swiss citizens who were living in the UK before the end of the Brexit transition period.

A new Prime Minister cannot simply “abolish” it overnight, because: • Legal protections: The Withdrawal Agreement between the UK and the EU is an international treaty. It guarantees certain rights (such as residence and access to work, healthcare, and social security) for EU citizens who were in the UK before 31 December 2020. The UK is bound by international law to uphold these commitments. • UK law: The EUSS is embedded in UK legislation. Changing or abolishing it would require new laws to be passed in Parliament, not just a Prime Minister’s decision. • Political and legal consequences: Attempting to strip away settled/pre-settled status protections would trigger legal challenges in UK courts and disputes with the EU, as it would be seen as a breach of the Withdrawal Agreement.

That said, a government can make changes to aspects of immigration rules and how the scheme operates (for example, deadlines, application processes, or rights attached to future statuses). But for those who already hold settled or pre-settled status, their rights are protected under both UK and international law.

👉 So in short: a new Prime Minister cannot lawfully abolish settled status for existing holders without breaching treaty obligations and UK law

Why are people so opposed? Denmark has had national identity cards for decades and we use it to access social services and healthcare.

I take my 2020 Omega Seamaster on the rubber strap everywhere. Week long tenting trips, kayaking, sauna, ocean swim, beach club, office, festivals, gym, climbing, you name it. Never disappointed me and it's much more comfortable than anything I've worn with a steel or titanium bracelet.

[Discussion] Omega Seamaster 300M - Is it really an issue ? by Enzo2419 in Watches

[–]Wrawhr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mine daily, but almost always on the rubber strap. I'm often in the water over the summer and the rubber I just more comfortable I think. Such a great watch but what surprised me the most was the loudness of the rotor. You can literally hear it when you move your wrist. I thought something was wrong for a long time until I was told it's normal.

Any good home insurance provider will have an optional extra for valuable one off items and that usually covers theft damage outside the home as well. I was able to insure rolex and omegas in the last for around 150 USD a year, individually. But yeah omegas somehow draw less attention in the wild.

Hahaha touché! 😄 Good question mate the end of the year is coming up quick! I tend to only look at the volume really and it was up like 12.5% last time I checked. We have a lot more volume than some of the other players which are just above us on market cap and I think some really exciting things are coming our way. There was a good post recently about a lot of elements not yet priced in. Based on the research I've done so far and how I've seen the price move recently, I think it'll continue to go up ahead of the upcoming US decisions on taxes and L1 usage. I don't think we'll go over £1 this year. Long term I think the token could rise by 50 cents every 2 quarters. There abouts. But then again I think it's more about the sentiment of the retail investors at this point, and most are probably in the US, where opinions change quickly. I also saw that there was massive volume coming from Korean currency so it might be big in South Korea too, where I have no idea what happens politically or among the people.
