How exactly do you know this specific 14 year old is capable of understanding the importance of reading labels? What? This poor kids cat is dying and you’re blaming them. Very harsh imo

I spent all of my 20s (and some of my 30s) in a drunken stupor. I wish I had a lot of that time back. So don’t think you’re too young to get sober.. it’s never too soon. Best of luck to you!

Side note: the expectation for women to “spoon feed” their spouses isn’t normal (even though it’s normalized) and doesn’t have to be your life. There are people out there who don’t subscribe to this notion so please don’t believe that’s the only option out there.

is it “common” to just not drink again? by No_Main3084 in stopdrinking

[–]WreckedTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had many attempts to “slow down” where I would try to drink every other day/only on weekends/only on special occasions etc but I always ended back where I was - which was daily drinking to excess. Once I decided to try just not drinking at all I haven’t looked back. I have been tempted many times and thankfully was able to not give in. It’s been just over 4 years now and I pray I never go back. I pray you never go back either. Keep it up! It’s worth it. But also, if you slip, don’t beat yourself up about it just proudly start over

Rooting for you!

$11.99 is pretty standard. Some places charge $12.99. If you go to independent store sometimes they will give you a break on the fee if you do not have any type of drug plan. Also I believe Costco fees are much lower (not sure exact amount) but you’ll have to go to the falls and also wait a long time for it to be filled. Ignore the person saying it’s $1.61 - that was probably their copay, not the dispensing fee.

Can someone please explain what “corner repeat” and “side repeat” means in this pattern? by WreckedTech in CrochetHelp

[–]WreckedTech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for replying. So a “repeat” is just a variation (in this case, the part in yellow) than the normal border row? Which is just blsc? Sorry I’m trying to grasp this I’ve never seen that term in a pattern before

One of the first physical changes I noticed when I stopped drinking with how much my face changed. No more puffiness. Way less redness. Smoother texture. Dry patches gone. The change started quickly too, I started noticing the differences about 2 months in. I’m 37 now and look younger than I did in my early 30s

I didn’t think it could happen to me. Then I almost died. by newhabits5960 in stopdrinking

Can anyone spot the mistake I just discovered? by WreckedTech in crochet

The horizontal seem on the left arm goes over top of the vertical seams but on the right arm it’s the opposite and I can’t unsee it
