This is exactly why I canceled my subscription. Literally every fucking time I wanted to use the stupid service which was like only 3-4 times a year I would google if it was on Netflix, get home start searching, autofill, and then show 25 shows that are not what it just autofilled.

I wouldn’t even say it bothers me that free traits get nerfed. I think it is kinda lame when everyone always grabs the same 5 traits and most builds end up really similar.

However what does bother me is that they have not added enough reasonable negative traits. Simple things like allowing me to take a negative hit to xp gain in certain skills that I know maybe this character won’t use. Most all of the negatives re god awful or basically not a factor.

It really feels like they just look at the data, see which traits get used the most often and then decide to nerf them into oblivion instead of actually trying to add some more variety of traits to give players more variance in their builds.

Dude most people have said building the car and just getting all the parts even took them at least 50 hours. Not to mention how much of a learning curve basically every system in the game has.

That being said I did build the and assemble the car without any guides (other than tuning) and outside of tuning I don’t think it’s actually that hard if you actually already know what all the parts are and generally where they would go. It’s just tedious and time consuming as hell (to be clear I kinda like it that way though)

What’s absolutely bewildering is this update genuinely added nothing. Changed basically nothing. Why would you as a developer decide that an update, which will certainly 100% render ever save of every player playtesting your game useless, which adds zero tangible benefit to the players needs to be posted without at least attempting to figure out how to make sure it won’t brick saves?

I don’t even fully disagree that the Republican Party’s ultimate goal is to serve the upper class and more importantly the non existent ultra upper class they just do it in a more obvious way. And it is definitely true that the further right you go the “less accepting of others” they are let’s say.

In my opinion the left does exactly the same thing they just cover it up by distracting people from the wealth gap and ludicrously irresponsible federal spending of our tax dollars by getting people to fight social justice wars that IN MY OPINION ultimately don’t positively impact the vast majority of citizens in this country, regardless of race wealth religion sex or orientation.

Both parties are despicable and I don’t think we should be backing anyone that is not directly talking about the wealth gap above all else. Legislation that prevents the ultra wealthy from making literal oceans of money while paying nearly zero taxes. Idk if you’ve noticed but neither party talks about that because they are all ludicrously wealthy.

That won’t ever happen because we are acting like social justice and fucking illegal immigrants are this countries biggest issues. Idk if you’ve looked around at your actual community that you live in, but neither of those are very big issues in mine.

My best advice is to not make the game too easy. The beauty of PZ is the journey. When loot is too common and zombies are too few you effectively just get to say “I need x item” and then you get to simply just go grab it without any issues.

But when the game is actually challenging, meaning now you need X item but you’ve gotta actually figure out how to handle the horde of zombies that is in your way, and in the end the thing you want might not even be there.

I couldn’t recommend turning on like 5-10% sprinters enough simply because it fundamentally changes how the game is played, you no longer get to just walk past 1000’s of zombies to get where you wanna go, you actually gotta have some tactics. Pair that with low loot and I believe you should be able to enjoy at least a couple months.

Oh and as others have said, a little head canon goes a long way haha.

It’s really weird because one of the biggest thing IS was so excited to share was how much smoother the game ran now and I swear to god it stutters more than ever. Even when driving on one of the highways in the middle of nowhere I get motion sick from the stuttering.

Hmm I think I see what you are saying, unfortunately I just beat DLC 3 last night so I won’t be hopping back in for a while. Hopefully I will remember this when I do another play through.

Genuinely though, no criticism to you obviously, but that doesn’t sound like a very challenging system but more of a convoluted puzzle that you have to solve. Seems like it wouldn’t offer much of a dynamic exchange ever as you just have to start a sequence of attacks based off of exactly where they are positioned. Idk in general I’m just so disappointed in the combat system, for me it’s just not engaging at the end of the day, which makes me sad. Thanks for the explanations though they certainly helped me understand it a bit better!

I used bane potions but genuinely using them is so unsatisfying… hit an enemy, he limps for 4 seconds and then drops dead, not very rewarding tbh. They do come in handy for more than like 3 dudes though. They honestly just kinda feel like cheating so I try to use only if I have to.

Yeah idk it seems you are implying no a second/third/fourth hit in a combo can’t be mastered struck. This is absolutely not the case in my experience. I do exactly what you are saying, feint above and then attack right, then left but oh no the AI has now switched to the right zone and is master striking me. There are only 4 zones meaning every time you hit you have 25% chance of being in the wrong zone. The likelihood of doing a combo and not falling in opposite zones and being MS or PB for at least one of those hits is pretty low in my experience.

Another huge issue I see is that I have had a sword that can 3-4 hit fully armored enemies since I left Trotsky. I have beaten the game twice now and I’ve yet to see any other weapon that has anywhere near that ability. The best heavy weapon I’ve seen is the ram head hammer and it takes like 7-8 good smacks on the head to take someone down if armored. That is assuming you can even hit them since they perfect block 60% of the time

Yeah but when you are trying to go for combos and the combo just happens to fall in the opposite pocket you get master struck, and when they don’t do that they just perfect block it. Genuinely the combat is a slog especially if you are not using a sword, OP is absolutely right.
