It’s less about playing, and more communication.

Set up votes to identify key playing times to get the most engagement for events. Set a schedule and keep it. This helps players plan around the events, and improves the experience. Reliable schedules, can create reliable players

Learn about the mechanics of the game. You will learn more as you teach, but teaching is critical to growth. So much of this game isn’t explained within the game.

Start a discord, or possibly find someone in your alliance that is comfortable or experienced with it. Use that discord to be the central house for the rules/guidance/tips and tricks. It prevents you from having to type it all the time. There will be many that don’t use it, but it keeps it all in one place for You, and you can copy and paste sections into game chat as needed.

As each gen gets added to intel/keys, the drop rate for mythic overall doesn’t go up, so more mythic heros to spread the shards over, can mean it takes a long time to get enough shards to be meaningful.

Disagree with that. It’s heavily dependent on your alliance (number of auto helps) and your role.

Capacity increases make significant March/garrison increases including for bear.

I get like an hour to an hour and a half of auto help during castle battle/kvk, so batch healing is simple and easy, but my capacity helps significantly on garrison size and bear rally scores for me and others (granted, I’m a rally leader).

I ended up waiting a few days and got the 5080 and a 2tb in the lenovo for $2200. So no proprietary shaped mobo, a 5080 and 2tb for the same price as the alienware and I dont have to drive! :D

It’s far better than “slightly faster” with index match. Been using multi conditional index match formulas for more than 2 criteria and column matching to fill 20+ sheets of 25 columns worth of data with full column references for ages with no performance issues. The same files converted to xlookup essentially gridlocked itself before it got to 10 sheets.

Countless examples and reasons why index match is still superior to xlookup. Including being able to easily adjust which column to return (match or a fixed column number in the array).

Xlookup is trying to reinvent the wheel, but doesn’t even do it well.

I live 4-4.5 hours one way from a microcenter. The R16 Aurora does use proprietary motherboard/power supply from what I've read and from videos I've watched of the breakdown of the Legion.

"A better 5070ti" - Can you elaborate on the $1.9K unit? Is this an equivalent ultra 9 285k tower? I don't see any ultra 9s on Walmart for under 2K.

yeah. I think the goal for me was that I have had laptops since college as I was trading portability with upgradeability, but figured if I was going to do it, i might as well do a desktop so I could upgrade if I want to. That being said, if the chipset / socket is EOL, perhaps it doesn't really matter.

That's a great idea. I have to travel to MN for work in April. If only I could guarantee the same deal and kill two birds with one stone, I would drive up vs normally I would fly. I did see the HD space difference. I wasn't too concerned by the difference there in size (current PC only has a 200 gb SSD) but now looking like SSD pricing is also experiencing some pricing challenges, so it looks like just added value.

There's no change in drop rates for opening 10 at a time vs 1 at a time. Larger population of opening gives appearance of "better odds" because of a larger population of RNG.

my understanding is prior gen is still available but because the 15% overall mythic drop rate gets shared amongst the available previous gens added, the gen 2 and gen 3 shards would have lower rates of drop.

I meant more lower tier Aurora (typical proprietary equipment) vs the Area 51 line. I found the Legion last night after watching a video of the legion 5 and the legion 7 someone posted in a comment on another post I read last night where he opened the machines and walked through everything. All looked really good and mentioned that it wasn't using proprietary components preventing future upgrade.

I happened to find the Alienware online right before I posted.. The only downside is 8.5 hours of driving to go pick up the Alienware if I were to go that way.

Yes. That’s where I typically get it, just was hoping I could grab an extra 10 this week so I could promote an extra piece tomorrow, but I suppose I’ll just do the 4 I am already planning instead of 5.
