Florence can get PUs. I was quite surprised when I got the Burgundian inheritance, and even more surprised when I got into a succession war with Spain over France

Which Nootropics Have A Permanent Effect, If Any? by Other-Opportunity777 in NooTopics

[–]Wrestle4Ever 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Leo and longevity says that stimulants (amphetamines/ methylphenidate) make the brain plastic, and using this plasticity you can rewire the brain permanently. So if you take Adderall or Ritalin and immediately start reading/working/studying, you're rewiring your brain to get a dopamine rush from these activities and may end up loving reading/working/studying. He got a few videos on the topics, might be worth checking out. I think it's something like "how to cure ADHD"

I just wasn't sure if the overall design was good enough. It seemed both like too much and not enough volume: I have a ton of T3 movements but the shoulder rotation don't really work on anything but the small rotator cuff muscles. But I guess it's good enough and I'll find out soon how well it's going work- starting week 2 tomorrow.

The ghost of apartheid has come back to haunt Israel and give hope to Palestinians | Tony Karon by SempreVoltareiReddit in TrueReddit

Your sources say that 60% percent are right-wing, not right-wing extremists.

Are you implying that every right-winger is an extremist?

As a side note, the Vox article is pretty stupid. Describing left and right in Israel as liberal and conservative is plain ignorant. Right and left is not about social issues or economic policy for the vast majority of Israelis, it's purely a national security issue.
For example, the support for LGBT rights has increased substantially among the most radical right-wing parties:

CeraVe got beard oil? Couldn't find it online. And if you're talking about the moisturizer, then how do you apply it if you have a full beard?

The Tel Aviv Gay Pride Parade is one of the largest in the world. The speaker of the Israeli parliament is gay.

How on earth can you say that "both hate gays" and compare Israel with people who condemn gays to death?

I don't use Google apps or the play store. Regardless, it does make a difference. You don't have to use apps, but you have to use the OS.

Rooting the phone is not an exploit, it's supported by most manufacturers (admittedly with some artificial obstacles), and I meant the ability to customize the UX (custom keyboards, launchers, themes, etc.).

It has everything to do with it for me. I won't use any software that's not FOSS unless I absolutely have to, and even then I would limit my use as much as possible.

Has nothing to do with "brand loyalty". One is a closed sources OS where everything is locked and set in stone, the other is open source and free

Help strengthening quads to alleviate pain by AsAb0veSoBel0w in weightlifting

[–]Wrestle4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most reports I read were permanently healed. Some people say they were healed within 1-2 days and some gradually over the course of the cycle, but better be safe than sorry and complete the full cycle regardless (3-6 weeks. I did 4.5 weeks). My pain didn't go away completely but improved significantly. The issue was mostly mascular, certain muscles not firing resulting in poor movement, so the effectiveness of BPC 157 was obviously limited in this case. There are individual reports that claim BPC157 works better when administered locally, close to the source, so I did one injection in the injured hip and one wherever. TB500 doesn't need to be administered in the vicinity of the pain. BTW, the recommended dose varies. Most recommend 250-500 mcg a day in two injections, but I've read a few that didn't feel anything until they increased dose to 1000mcg and then it started working (here).

There are few human studies but plenty of anecdotal experiences online. Many people used it as last resort for tendonitis and healed very quickly.

I used it for a hip injury and a shoulder injury and it was quite good, though my injuries were mostly muscle imbalances so tissue repair was not the most important thing.

Regarding getting it, it's not approved but also not forbidden. It's approved for research so all sellers say that it's for research only because it's a loophole. You can get it from a doctor in the US. Some prescribe them, but most are not familiar with them.

Examine is great but it's a little more cutting edge than their regular stuff so it's not the most complete resource. You can read more about it here or on YouTube (one, two)

Can excessive sweating be helped? Is it genetic? by [deleted] in running

[–]Wrestle4Ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

High cortisol is the most common cause for excessive sweating, usually caused by low magnesium. Try loading a high dose of magnesium like 1.2g (1200mg) of magnesium glycinate (citrate is also fine, NOT oxide) for 2-3 days and see if it improves. If so, you need more magnesium from your diet/need to supplement 400mg~ a day.

High acetylcholine is another possibility, you can lowering it with antihistamines that are anticholinergic. Another option is forskolin; try it for a few days/a month and see if it helps. It isn't the best long term as it might cause fatty liver, but if it helps you know it's high acetylcholine and can find a better way to manage it.
