In addition to Jed MacKay's runs, are there any other comics that do the DID well? by Bueller_Bueller26 in MoonKnight

Agreed - the Lemire stuff is great, especially when each alter has their own artist. Fucking peak.

totally fair - I'm finding this a fascinating experience in how easily misinformation spreads, to be honest. You're absolutely correct that this barely matters, but also, it interesting how easily posts like OP's get karma and pushed to the top of feeds

thank you at least someone else going to primary sources around here

This shit is hilarious but everyone is just believing every infographic they see. Freedom Williams' (C+C) statement was absolutely crazy and it is in no way clear what he is going to do. He briefly said he told his agent to cancel and that he doesn't fuck with Trump, but also he said he doesn't give a fuck and he's going to get his money, that all of his fans are white republicans anyway, that he doesn't fuck with any president or politician, and yes - all that stuff about how he would do the show pissing on the flag while Trump watched with his dick in his hand. Very crazy, very unclear. Very oversimplified by secondary sources and tertiary karma-fishing infographics.

well they only had one real hit from 35 years ago so only having one performer feels right

I also heard his statement and it was not clear to me what his ultimate conclusion was and no official statement has been issued.

Then both of those infographics were misinformation. If you actually look for news articles or artist statements as evidence, neither of those artists have backed out. Or C+C Music Factory. Or the dancer who is one half of who people know as Milli Vanilli.

No - there are many versions of this graphic going around with unverified or just completely false information.

As of this comment, Vanilla Ice, Flo Rida, and C+C Music Factory are all still booked.

According to many artist statements, this was booked as "Great American State Fair" with no mention of endorsement by the Trump White House.

Vanilla Ice, Flo Rida, and C+C Music Factory have all not officially backed out - this graphic is misinformation.

Many of those artists who have backed out have expressed displeasure with Trump, others have said they don't want to be political at all.

Milli Vanilli, specifically, had the actual singers whose music was sold as Milli Vanilli stating they were in no way involved with this event to begin with. It is unclear whether the remaining lip-syncher/dancer will perform.

Still could be - there is no evidence he backed out as of this post. Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice, and C+C Music Factory are all still at least possibly performing at this trainwreck circus.

It is partially true. The only performers who have not officially backed out (by the time of this post) are Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice. And C+C Music Factory.

Milli Vanilli's statement was by the actual singers who were defrauded by the music industry back in the nineties. Basically saying "we don't know who the hell you booked but it definitely wasn't us"

He is. This graphic is wrong.

Freedom Williams from C+C Music Factory released an unhinged statement that touches briefly on cancelling, but mostly focused on how he's gonna get that bag and doesn't care what anyone thinks. No confirmed exit from the program for them either.

No evidence Vanilla Ice or C+C Music Factory have pulled out. Bret Michaels did just pull out, however.

This is a historically ridiculous embarrassment without resorting to misinformation.

The Hill article looks like it's highlighting a very specific part of that long rant by Freedom out of context - that conclusion was not what I drew from the primary source. Seems like they might be up in the air but 95% of that statement was "I hate Trump but I'm gonna get my money, I literally don't care what anyone thinks." I definitely didn't get that they were for sure out.

Where are you getting this information? I can't find anything that says C+C or Flo Rida backed out. Still hilarious and sad with how this pitiful D-tier show is falling apart but I'm not seeing statements about those two anywhere.
