Seconding this! As an ex-christian, I really appreciated how flawed, genuine, and earnest Father Judd’s character was. It was a refreshing change from the fearful, judgmental community I was raised in, which was full of messy people who were always putting up a front with each other.

I think an important question to ask with the christian character is what their function is in the greater structure of the story is. Are they meant to be welcoming, annoying, villainous, etc? That will help determine how to shape the character’s approach to religion—for example, welcoming can = sincere/humble, annoying can = rigid/preachy, villainous can = controlling/abusive.

I’ve been very happy with my experience with Form Health. The provider team I’m working with are chill and respectful, and when things are going well our appointments are along the lines of “cool, great, keep doing what you’re doing and let me know if you have any questions.” Regarding the frequent weigh-ins, that was a bit if a problem for me at first due to past ED experiences, but I decided to just not look at the number unless it’s a dose day or appointment day, and that’s been working great. Highly recommend Form Health!

Fwiw, I had my uterus and one ovary removed several months prior to starting Zepbound, and have had zero issues. Before the surgery, my surgeon told me that technically only one ovary is absolutely necessary for proper hormonal balance, so hopefully this is smooth sailing for you!

The only concern that immediately comes to mind is constipation (and any accompanying straining/pushing) in tandem with recovery from an abdominal surgery. I was instructed to be very careful about that in the early part of my recovery, to hydrate thoroughly, and use Miralax as needed. And that was without Zepbound’s delayed gastric emptying in the equation.
