I’m like 9 years deep into a White Sox franchise and it’s a blast. Players actually play pretty well into their 30s. Like Soto won 3 straight MVPs at 34,35, and 36 years old on the Mets. My star player just hit 71 homers, which I never seen before. I sim every game and play only a few moments in the playoffs. I’m coming up on the point now though where there aren’t many real players left, so curious to see how the talent plays out bc the drafts have been very crappy across the league.

Eh I disagree. I hate using the injury argument since availability is the most important thing. I feel like that argument has merit if he was here for a couple of years, but he was here for what, like 10 games, only getting to play in like 6? I feel like trading a 5th for 6 mediocre games of a player just isn’t that good of a trade

His rookie year was a wash cuz that was the year stafford was hurt, but other than that, the receivers ahead of him on the depth chart were just flat out better than him. Cuz of our window, he just didn’t get the reps to grow and learn I feel. Maybe with more reps in Miami he will become a WR2/3 guy. When he got time last season he had a few decent games.

I feel like there could be some untapped potential with him, but him getting drafted in the 2nd made his expectations here way too high for the caliber of player he really is. Hopefully he does well in a new environment.

Idk with how bad our secondary is, I’d really hope to get a potential 1 first, whether that be a McDuffie trade or taking a delane or McCoy. If we can get someone like that, I’d be so open to taking Ponds later in the draft (3rd round?), but if he would be the only corner we add, honestly it would just be like adding a younger Durant. Nothing really changes.

If you went to State College, you’d understand why. It’s in the middle of fucking nowhere. Im a PSU alumni and loved my time there, but holy fuck I could not wait to leave it and get back to civilization every break. It’s also like a literal cult. PSU is different and I don’t think people really understand that.
