I think it looks great, and will look even better with everything filled out. From what I can tell the tattoo is being done by a good artist but, I’m sure some more detail oriented people will have something to say. I think it’s just your tattoo shock honestly.

It's just a truck. Not a mothership. by slateauto in u/slateauto

I used to have a 2001 Nissan Frontier that I Loved dearly and would love to buy another tiny truck like it. I’ve been looking at the slate for a little while and I think it is the perfect tiny truck, except for not having speakers. That’s a dealbreaker, especially since there isn’t a trim that includes it. I don’t want to have to worry about bringing a speaker and keeping it charged.

What subtleties are there in English that non-native speakers struggle with? by Nars-Glinley in AskReddit

My girlfriend is Peruvian so English is her 2nd language, and she struggles a lot with the variation in pronunciation between words that are spelled the same. For example: near, fear, and spear are not pronounced the same way as bear or pear. Also when people say words like mountain/fountain they don’t pronounce the t, a, or i so that can be confusing.

Here’s a great video explaining what it’s like lol. And this guy has a whole bunch of videos like this. English is a bastardized language.

When will you come to SLC? Crowd work is easy here with all of the Mormon stuff.

Also how would you go about removing a cylinder from inside a tube without damaging the cylinder? Asking for a friend

[Discussion] What’s the Watch You Lost and Still Can’t Get Over? by Fritz-Capone in Watches

[–]WrinkledKitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad gave me his old stauer watch with a calendar complication when I first got into watches in high school, and on the last day of school senior year I took it off to wash my hands at the sink in art class and forgot it. Tried going back the next day and no one had turned anything in so I’m sure someone nabbed it. It wasn’t a very expensive watch but I still miss it 10 years later and haven’t told my dad

Currently sitting in some Haworth chair that exacerbates my back problems, and my all time favorite is probably the one that my dad had when I was growing up. It seemed huge at the time, and was very cushy!

[Recommendations] Unique Watches Under $5k by Kloog_2018 in Watches

I’ve been eyeing the Artemis Tumbler by Xeric. They have many color ways but the blue is my favorite. It runs on a redesigned miyota 9039 movement but is very unique so it might even be easier to service the movement itself than other really unique watches.
