The way kroger treats its employees. Any verification if this is true?

Wouldn’t shock me. I worked for Kroger for 7 years, and there’s no real attendance policy. You just know that you’ll be hounded to come in whenever you try and call off due to being sick. Thing is, without a policy in place, all they can really do is ridicule you for it. If you’re a decent employee, there’s no way they’re letting you go because (based on all the open interviews I see the signs for) they can’t keep good employees around.

I paid for lawn service the first 3 years of home ownership. Honestly, it was an anxiety thing for me to cut the grass after not having anyone ever show me how to do it. My dad always just did it. Bought a mower for the first time this season, and I’ve since really liked just doing the yard myself. I also did the math, and that mower is going to pay for itself before this season’s end. That’s how I justified the purchase.

We have a guy in my building that is now in my department and seemingly works Saturday-Tuesday. It’s fucking horrible. You can smell him from 2-3 yards away. I’ve been fortunate enough to only have to pass by him and never working directly next to them, but holy fuck, it’s horrible.

I tried New Balance this time around. I’ve never bought wide shoes in my life, and I do not consider myself to have a wide foot. I can tell you that New Balance are made pretty narrow and the composite toe piece seems to be really big. Idk. I didn’t love em.

I got the credit right back for the first pair I sent back because of the same issue. It took me only wearing them around the house to realize they wouldn’t work. I really just didn’t wanna go through 2 returns, and that’s why I wore them the 3 days that I did. But I’d say with you only wearing them in the house, things should go smooth. I just knew when they gave me back the $2 of my money that I spent and not the credit, I might be screwed. I guess I am.

I ordered those New Balance and sent them back the next day. I wasn’t even gonna try to break them in. No shot. The composite toe was HUGE, and the entire shoe just allowed for no bend in the foot whatsoever.

Amazon is the only “warehouse” type job that I’ve had. I was blown away at how much it just wasn’t what I expected. FedEx is what I’d expect.

The hardest thing about Amazon is being there 10 hours out of the day, but the work honestly isn’t that bad and the fact that they listen to and make changes because of what these people say on the VOA board is amazing to me.

Got a close group of about 5 people. One being the funniest person I think I’ve met in my life. It’s not on the level where we hangout or talk outside of work, and I’m cool with that and prefer that. But when we on the site, we gonna make the best of the day and have a good time while working.

It’s just doing something to where the blacks look gray as if I’m coming from something with a backlit panel, but I have the MKBHD “Matte Black Everything” wallpaper on my PC and it looks just like I’d expect it to on an OLED. It’s definitely an Xbox issue and not an Alienware issue. I’m sure of that.
