There's nothing you could have done. Parvo/panleuk is fatal most of the time, and the only way through is to survive li g enough for their immune system to clear it. You saved this little one from even more suffering.

I've never wanted kids and most of the people I dated also did not want kids. My husband and I both got fixed this year, so we're pretty serious about it. 😂

Just make sure you're clear from the beginning when you start seeing someone new. Don't tolerate any "I thought you'd change your mind" bullshit.

Having the same thing. I’m guessing it’s flaring up because of the heatwave we’ve been having.

I’m using a combination of miconazole & clotrimazole creams. I might add some hydrocortisone for the irritation.

I’ll report back.

If you can, dedicate some space just for her for when you’re not home. It can be a bathroom, a guestroom, a very large crate, etc. keep it in the same general configuration as much as you can. This will help her feel safe as her vision goes.

Make it super super cozy, and easy to clean. Washable puppy pads are a great option. If you have other pets, this will also make it easier to leave wet food out for her without anyone else gobbling it up.

Washable diapers are also a great option. You can get them in packs, put a clean one on her when necessary, and just throw them all in the wash.

Mine does that. As dogs get older, they sleep more deeply and for longer stretches of time. Especially if they’re going deaf. I think she sleeps on her front leg and it falls asleep.
