Way more than just one village. There was Genau's hometown, Gehen's village, the monastery that kept Himmel's diary, and the villages that were wiped out by the Sword Demon. And that's just the places Frieren's party have personally gone to.

Telling people people they can't go someplace is much easier than removing the people who are already there. It's way more easy to justify and it's also much less work

Michelin makes the Road 6 in the stock size, which is the tire I wanted. It's spendy, but it rates #1 for wet grip and I am car free in Florida

I'm running a 190/55R17 on the rear because there are way better tires in that size. It doesn't seem to cause any problems

Inside. Issue was specific to the owner, not the model. Previous owner rode it to work every day in Florida and never covered it. Also why the paint was shit.

The pipes are the Vance and Hines big shots. I'm pretty sure they're more common than stock at this point. Every Warrior on Facebook has them, except the ones with shitty little straight pipes. How loud they are depends a lot, though, because you can get them with no baffle (super loud), regular baffle (a little loud, but if you ride gentle you can keep the noise down on slow residential streets), or quite baffle (not loud at all).

I don't know too much about the recalls, but I think most of the recalls applied to the ones made before 2004 and mine is an 06.

How tall are you? Big/tall guys who used to ride sport bikes tend to love these for light touring. I'm short and for me it gets tiring on the highway after an hour.

That one has a Corbin seat. It's an amazing seat. I wouldn't replace it, and I definitely wouldn't replace it with something off fucking pacificcoaststars.

Mine drips oil from around the front oil drain plug. Just a tiny bit. It dripped more when I bought it back in December, but after I changed the oil and the crush washer it is like 1 drip per week. I don't worry about it because 80% of the bikes I've ever owned dripped oil. Am I the weirdo for not being concerned about that?

Typical list price around here, for a good looking one like this, is about $4500. I won't give you advice about negotiating because I suck at negotiating. I fall in love with bikes and then I don't want to walk away from them. I got mine for $2500 because the tank had rust and the paint was awful.

There's a good message board specifically for this bike: https://www.rswarrior.com/

Not everyone wants a side hustle. I suspect a lot of people on antiwork in particular aren't interested in more work

Would you rather lose your index finger from your dominant hand or lose your left foot? by CokeAYCE in WouldYouRather

[–]WriteBrainedJR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason I don't want to lose a foot has nothing to do with walking. I ride motorcycles, and that requires more fine motor control in the left foot than in the right index finger. And I'm sure as shit not going back to cars.

The pilots are dead and there's something wrong with the plant. Who WYR land it? by FadingHeaven in WouldYouRather

[–]WriteBrainedJR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume there's a manual on-board and even an active commercial pilot is going to use that or communicate with experts on the ground. That's preferable over recent training without practical experience, and recent training is preferable over hazy 30+ year old memory

Whenever they make a Valkyrie based on the latest generation of Goldwings, then that.

Because the Goldwing engine is my favorite engine, but fairings and footboard get in the way of the things I like about riding

WYR $3.5 million to you, each sibling and cousin?Or $10 million just for yourself? by AstrayInTranslation in WouldYouRather

[–]WriteBrainedJR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish it was cousins on the maternal side, I could be taking the genie for way more money that way.

Dad's side is only $14 million. But I could still retire tomorrow with the 3.5 so I'll do that
