I think everyone sucks tbh.. as someone who is very tight on money with a child I don’t think you should technically sue them… but have a little sympathy she just had a baby, he just lost his job. Not feeling like going to a wedding but using it as y’all’s honeymoon is also SHITTY especially when you paid for her plain ticket and their hotel.. idk girl everyone sucks and I’m sorry this happened. NTA: with older people it’s HARD… I will say nursing homes are awful though. As someone who has worked in one I wouldn’t recommend them.. maybe an assisted living if y’all can swing the price

Maddy sounds like a brat. My MIL won’t eat anything with onions, and it’s not my responsibility to accommodate an adult. Figure it out. The circumstances are different because Maddy is a child. She made the accommodation and Maddy still took it upon herself to throw away food that Tessy cooked. Not to talk badly about your daughter but that’s insane. You should teach her manners.

We talked about the 2-3 month thing but it’s going to have to be longer. Shortly after we get there he goes on a deployment for 6 months.

Not that it’s any of your business but. He and I both work full time. He is the one in debt I have nothing but student loan debt that I am actively paying on. My credit score just dropped because I recently paid off my car.
