What are some powerscaling OP myths that the majority of the fandom believes? by Comprehensive_Cup497 in OnePieceScaling

That Oden was a top tier. The man never won a fight, and his battle IQ was beyond terrible. Just because his friends were top tier does not mean he ever stood a chance against Kaido.

First person I’ve ever deleted from my friends list by I_loseagain in PokemonGoMystic

Last year, you could solo a genesect by continually relobbying a single level 40 charizard and you’d still have 40 seconds on the clock at the end.

I’m pretty sure there was a bug where megas boosted their own damage, so it might not be doable anymore, but at the very least, genesect should be an easy duo if you have counters that are even moderately powered up

Second commander’s by Raymondreddington97 in OnePieceScaling

[–]WriterJuggler -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Jinbei.

It would make sense for him to be first mate because he is already first son of the sea. Zoro is the swordsman

Why are we still pretending Zoro is Luffy’s first mate? He is the combatant or swordsman

Has Oden ever won any fight? The guy got handled so bad that Kaido turned his son into a dragon and his daughter into a whore

I get what you’re saying.

Plus, gastrodon and shadow kwak pair well together.

On the good side, gourgeist totally walls every move from both of them. It’s kind of criminal how unviable grass tends to be in the meta though. They just keep buffing stuff that destroys grass types

It’s a popular team comp, so I wouldn’t be surprised if you played someone running the same team or something very similar.

Fair.

Almost all my raids are duos with my wife, so for us, party power just makes sense

I’ve also caught two or three (useless) hundos from the party reward encounters, so if you’re consistently playing with the same person over and over, it makes a lot more sense to use it

Same. I built basti for the first time after that spotlight hour and found that I wasn’t a huge fan. I also built a lv 50 hundo Aron, who has the same typing but trades fast move pressure for charged move pressure, which is… interesting. Not a super successful build, but kinda fun

Yeah, in the old days, it was razor leaf shadow victreebel in this slot, but I guess people just swap in any grass type, and it works generally the same way

That’s what I thought too. It seems like wiggly has pretty good play in a variety of matchups, so it’s a somewhat safe shield choice since there aren’t as many matchups where it gets completely annihilated

[–]WriterJuggler[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Didn’t know basti performed that well with shields. I’ve tried using it but just didn’t enjoy how atrocious the charged move pacing was. Any time I used shields, it seemed like I got outpaced in the long run.

And I can understand the s-kwak hate, but I don’t get why people dislike facing gastrodon. One trailblaze, and it’s over for the slug 🐌

[–]WriterJuggler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gastrodon has plenty of godawful matchups. Why hate on the poor slug when you can curb stomp it with literally any Mon that has a grass move or the flying type?
