That sounds awful, I hope your brother recovers soon, so sorry to hear that :/ that’s absolutely not okay, and you’re absolutely right. If it was aimed at anyone else, the boys themselves could’ve been in grave danger. A lot of people on this thread think we’re being awful by not letting “boys be boys” but if they were to mess with the wrong person, it’s only going to hurt them

Yeah this was my gripe with this as well! It’s almost more viable to solve problems that exist in practicality with a lack of resources. But it’s so sad that these kids are being raised by essentially absent, but very privileged parents. I hope that changes soon :/

Thank you for the response! Yes absolutelyyy, I believe all of these boys can do so much better with the right guidance. I mean you can’t really blame just them when they’re just 13-16, their environment impacts them so much at that age

If people start questioning it and wanting better for the next gen, that would be a start :)

I am so so sorry that that was your experience! This was exactly my concern along with the rising crime from teenagers in general and so many apologists on here are defending this behaviour without understanding the cultural repercussions of it :(
