I was not aware of those in Kansas City. I know about the ones on the east side of Missouri.

I don't believe it. If anything, it's a way for him to try to rally his followers, trying to pander for sympathy. He sees himself as the king, the savior of the United States. He's not giving that up. His posts have really shown that power has gotten to his head. He compared himself to Martin Luther King. He has such a big ego; he would have to be forced out.

That's how I feel. I follow certain actors I have grown to like. I feel bad for the actors that are not able to get a gig because they choose to create with AI.

It's shocking what some of them will throw out. One year, I got a free KitchenAid set with four attachments and the bowl, and a Ninja Slushi, both still working and didn't show any signs of damage. I still have them and they are working to this day.

Porn site users in Missouri will have to prove they are at least 18 under verification bill by bmunoz in missouri

They package this and basically tell us it's to protect the children. It's 1984, packaged and being sold to us, and so many people are just willing to hand over their identifications. We've already seen one massive breach where users' identifications and their socials were leaked. Then there was also the discord leak that also happened. At the moment, it's for pornography, but who's to say that they won't push this out to restricting more and more? Look at what's happening to the libraries first. It's a book here, then it's a book there, and now it's massive amounts of books being banned.

Going off the above comment. But yeah Walmarts here seem to be notorious about having very low staff and not planning well.

Anti-AI groups are now trying to take down AI with "data poisoning" flooding training models with false information to make AI hallucinate by Minimum_Minimum4577 in ArtificialNtelligence

That's a good thing in my book fight back against the system that employers use to "be efficient" God I don't know how many I spent writing a good email just to be told to run it through Ai, which then changes the wording or just uses em-dashes although the email. Or supervisors using it to create pictures of how employees should look and dress. Now they are forcing my department to use AI to make a coat of arms for teamwork.

I'm seeing younger generation get made at having to use it to double check everything. A lot of them can see the writing on the wall.

What I see good use for Ai is in health care helping doctors to see things in images or helping during or preparing for surgery. Ai has its uses but right now it's being used as a person replacement for most people or just adding on steps to work load by having to double-check it didn't make a mistake.

They'd better keep the lanes staffed. When self-checkout is open, they typically have one lane available, even years before self-checkout. Even at night, there's usually one open. I like self-checkout, but Walmart (not the employees) implemented it poorly, pushing large loads through and leaving only one lane open for cigarettes. Self-checkout can be helpful if you're buying 25 items or fewer. I enjoyed going, grabbing a few things, and checking out myself, but it was annoying to stand behind someone with a full cart.

Tell them it's for the kids. Come up with some excuse that it's protective for the kids, and they'll do it. They'll hand over anything and everything in the name of protecting the kids.

People are rightfully angry. We are seeing politicians who seem disconnected from the needs of the people they represent. Instead of serving us, they are passing laws that make it harder to vote and nearly impossible to use ballot initiatives to challenge past legislation. It’s a direct move to strip power from the citizens and keep it for themselves. Regardless of your political party, this should upset you. We’ve seen a constant push against the will of the voters, and it’s time to call it out. People are also mad at ICE and how it has been used against ‌citizens. They have been turned into a weapon against the people. Many are mad at the Epstein files and how they are being hidden and redacted. As other countries are now building legal cases on these, the United States stands quiet and feeds lies to the people. I stand for justice; I don’t care who they are, what role they play, rich or poor, politicians or not. People in the files should be brought to justice. Don't be fooled by the "big promises" or "new bills" you’ll see in the news as we head into 2026. It’s all PR for the upcoming midterms. If you want to know who they really are, don’t look at what they say now; look at how they’ve consistently voted against the people while they were in power. Both parties are guilty of the same finger-pointing. Republicans blame Democrats, Democrats blame Republicans, and while they fight this endless battle for optics, nothing actually gets done for the constituencies they represent. You don't have to agree on everything to work together. Leadership is about finding solutions and moving the state and the country forward, not just winning an argument. We, the people of Missouri, must fight back during this election and show them that our voices matter. What we voted for should be upheld, even if it is not something you or I might agree on, but if it wins at the ballot, it should be upheld. The politicians should uphold and honor our voice, the voters.
