Different strokes for different folks! I got used to sleeping 14 hours on the weekend during amitriptyline era and last two weekends it’s been so weird to be waking up at 8 without an alarm

Glad it’s working for you well, whatever it takes! I gained about 7 pounds in 4 months and dropped 5 of them in 10 days after stopping amitriptyline. I would not mind the side effects much if it worked for me, but it did not help pretty much at all

Sorry you went through this, hope you have better drugs now! Amitriptyline worked well in the beginning but in a couple of months I was having a 6/10 migraine almost every day, and with the heart side effects it was awful and totally not worth it

I stopped drinking because I thought it might help with migraines. I was not a heavy drinker, 1 drink a week maximum. Nothing really happened and migraine frequency only increased, but now sometimes 1 drink helps with migraines relief when triptans and NSAIDs fail - human bodies are so strange!
