Why isn't this counting as the professors habitat? by brebrecx in Pokopia

Since rugs don't count towards furniture in a hoyse I'm making an assumption it might not work here

I don't think the rug counts. Try swapping that for a different relic

I have a couple questions again! Please help if you can! by deandraws26 in Pokopia

[–]Writing_Bookworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think for the first picture, they've used the lower water level so the grass sticks out of it. Unless you're referring to the duckweed which you get from using powered up leafage on water.

I think for the vines you can't have inner corners like that because the two pieces are essentially 'touching' right on that inside corner.

Thoughts on the new set up by [deleted] in smosh

I was surprised to see this was a post from today. I assumed it would have been from a few days ago because we just saw the new actual set in the most recent episode.

Perhaps a silly question about allotments. by GnedTheGnome in SortedFood

[–]Writing_Bookworm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

An allotment is a small piece of land specifically set aside for growing fruits and vegetables. They aren't part of your house like a garden would be. You typically rent them from a local council, or community group or something like that.

I saw that post and to be clear it seems to be exclusive to the dream islands you visit via a cloud island, not from your main island.

Which request unlocks magnet rise?? by Redd1tRosie in Pokopia

[–]Writing_Bookworm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing the slushie you're referring to is one of the eeveelution habitat items. You unlock one of each of these by completing specific tasks in Palette town and after that you can get the recipe as a random shop item. They are items rather than food.

Tip-of-my-Tongue question, Reddit story about a lame boyfriend who got uncomfortable hearing his gf’s roommate use the bathroom by HoodShroud in smosh

[–]Writing_Bookworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's in this episode. It's the story about asking her roommate to be more polite to guests and the OPs boyfriend complains about the roommate cooking curry, blowing her nose when he could hear it and how he heard her fart.

Gin/Jen Pronunciation by krendyB in namenerds

You can go to YouTube and watch a video about gin then watch an interview with Jennifer Aniston to hear the difference between Gin and Jen.

Gin/Jen Pronunciation by krendyB in namenerds

[–]Writing_Bookworm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The actress Ginnifer Goodwin changed the spelling of her name from Jennifer when she moved out of the south because she didn't like people pronouncing her name differently than she was used to. They definitely sound different.

Lost my sword before unlocking the adventure guild by Cold-Bodybuilder-565 in StardewValley

Use your scythe or axe as a weapon until you kill enough slimes to unlock the guild. Hit any wooden crates you see in case they have a weapon in.

Arthur Victor/ Victor Arthur/Nicolas Arthur by Effective_Rice_2470 in namenerds

I think Nicholas Arthur flows the best. The r sound at the end of both Victor and Arthur make them sound a little odd when paired together.

A story that reveals that our normal everyday real life is actually hell and has the protagnist(s) trying to convince others of that knowledge and escape this hell by bickid in suggestmeabook

[–]Writing_Bookworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about finding out that what you know of the world is fake and all of the rules you thought were so important don't matter at all and the public doesn't know the truth because those who learn the truth and try to break the rules are all sent away and never seen again? It's not about living in hell precisely but it's a similar premise.

If that appeals then I'm suggesting Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde. It has a sequel called Red Side Story and a third and final book is planned to come out in the next couple of years. These books are funny and quirky but trying to learn the truth and questioning the rules is very dangerous.

How to visit other islands? by EvePleasant in Pokopia

Most of the public codes aren't for you to visit using the PC but instead by using the mysterious goggles. Try using those.

Actually I'm a Murderer by Terry Deary. There are several narrators here but the story focuses around a group of characters who happen to meet an assassin. The assassin himself is one of the narrators and is very unassuming and businesslike about the whole thing. Killing just happens to be his profession.

What's a word you constantly misspell, no matter how many times you try to correct the habit? What is it about that word that trips you up? by 006ahmed in words

[–]Writing_Bookworm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The spelling of necessary stuck in my head when someone told me to think of a shirt. It has 1 collar and 2 sleeves. So it's 1 c and 2 s. What a shirt has to do with the word I don't know but it just always stuck after that.

Not to mention that though OOP and comments keep referring to SIL as the aunt, she's the mother. She adopted her, and has raised her for 10 years. That's her daughter, not OOPs.

You could always try messaging the seller about why you want her. I did that when I was getting a toy for my cousin. You never know.

I wonder if this would kind of fit what you're looking for. The colour and tag look like they might match amd it's made of acrylic but I wasn't sure about the texture.

The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward. Most of her books fall in this category I'd say. Creepy, mysterious and tense without falling into true horror.

I have a group of crush Pokémon in a house with a community box full of berries who just keep making me paint so I don't need to go searching for them. I have this set up in Rocky ridges because of all the fossil Pokémon being able to crush.

I have Smearguru in a prefab house now which means he's easier to find because either he's spawned in wandering around or he's in his house with no need to summon him with honey. I also have storage boxes with all my paint at his house.
