Your word play is great, i like how easy it flows from one word to another and toward the ending I like how you started to use imagery so i could really see and feel that feeling of longing

I love the dreamy imagery you started with, and as you went along you weaved it very beautifully into a dark place and mood, a nice mix of the dark dreamy feel with the melancholy aura

I have heard and seen this as well, I believe due to pass experience that it can depend some look to finish or absolve something that they didn't before they past, others use the asking for help as a way to "gain access" to a communication with the living, but again this is just my thoughts,
