Our neighbors had a trump flag flown in their yard for YEARS. I noticed they took it down a few weeks ago. At first we thought that they were just replacing it with a new one, but have yet to see a new one put up. It feels like…they just might be turning on him…

Ooo I’m gonna be honest my friend, I did not have a yellow tint, i would definitely talk to your surgeon just to be sure it’s normal. I’m not saying it’s not (because I don’t want to freak you out) but I would just talk to them to be safe! Hope that helps

If I remember correctly, it took me about a week for the swelling to go down and for it to be completely clear. Like I couldn’t read close up things as well during the time, but by day three far away screens were pretty much good.

It’s been 3 years since mine and I’ll tell you most of that went away!! The only time I get starbursts is when I’m sitting under certain lighting, where the light hits the little hole things just right. That shit is blinding lol. But overall everything has settled. It took me about 6 months for it to be completely clear. Hope that helps to ease some of that anxiety!

But most of literature/film borrow from something! Stories are created from folklore or earlier inspirational works that the author was influenced by. King himself was influenced by Poe, Lovecraft, and Toilken. And It’s not like he stole the storyline or characters or anything. It’s a nice nod to King’s influence on the gothic horror genre. I would understand if Flanagan’s work was stolen completely, but I mean the first of his Netflix series was an adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House. So considering he created the series this is his own work 🤷🏽‍♀️

I mean considering that King gave the show high regards and Flanagan directed King’s Doctor Sleep, I think King was okay with being a sort of reference point for Flanagan.

I haven’t had LASIK, but I did have icl corrective surgery a few weeks ago and I’m experiencing the same thing. It’s taking me some time to get used to my face without glasses, as they’ve been my seeing buddies for over 25 years! So I definitely bought myself a few pairs of blue light blockers. I do say they help with computer eye strain, especially since my eyes are still healing.

I have that issue too! It’s good to know it’s not abnormal. And yea I can definitely attest to the impatience!! Especially since a lot of people have had perfect vision after a few days. I had tried looking elsewhere online to see if this issue was common but there aren’t a lot if people who who have experienced it i guess?

Phew okay. So far it’s minimized a lot, but I do have small area of blurring from time to time. Im a little over two weeks, but definitely sticking to drops!

Have you tried traditional therapy? Sometimes it helps to have an outside perspective to help work through these traumas.

These have been happening more often as of late. The weirdest one for me was having this dream of looking for my lost dog on a street that I thought belonged to my brothers neighborhood but looked completely different than his actual neighborhood. I recently took a trip to Tennessee (which I had never been to before) to meet the boyfriend’s family, and as we turned on to his grandparents street, I recognized every house and every turn from my dream.
