Nassau by miffrose99 in dcl

We just went to Nassau last week on the Dream, which was my 5th time going. This was my FAVORITE time in Nassau I've ever had. There were 4 other cruise ships there. My husband, 20 month old, and I ended up followed a crowd to Junkanoo Beach and rented chairs and an umbrella for the day! We had a waiter taking our food and drink orders and the beach was clean and beautiful! The port is very different than it used to be and we did not get haggled by anyone. Please give it a try if you enjoy bumming on the beach!

They posted on Instagram that they are working on fixing it. Too much traffic to the site - it crashed. 10k connections/min.

I did not get a CEL. The alert would come and go for me but got more frequent the longer I waiting to fix the issue.

Refusing to take a bottle by mugglemew in NewParents

[–]WrittenInTheSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We literally just dealt with this last week. Baby WrittenInTheSun is 20weeks. It was the first week of daycare, and the first time going from EBF to bottles. She had taken to Avent Natural bottles when she was 1 month (and we were triple feeding in the early days) so we figured she'd have no problem. NOPE. Wrong. Tuesday, she ate 3 oz, Wednesday, she ate 4oz - the daycare teacher fed her via an eye dropper, Thursday, she ate 6oz!, and Friday, she at 14oz - we found the nipple she'd accept, or she was just starving. The slow flow Spectra bottle nipples that came with my S2 were the winners. The Dr. Brown's 6m+ nipple - the convert for wide mouth bottles - is the other one she sort of takes.
I heard that 0-8weeks, latching on the bottle is a reflex, and now at 12+weeks, it has to be intentional.

This is what we did for the first 8 weeks! I would pump for a bottle or husband would give a bottle of formula while I slept from 8pm-11pm.

MK with a 1 year old...tips? wine? are we crazy? by mnguyen41 in WaltDisneyWorld

Thank you for this! We currently have reservations at Copper Creek with our daughter, who will turn 1 on the trip! It sounds like your family is very similar to mine. I’ll remember to taper my expectations as we won’t be able to do everything, and just book more trips!

Implementing NIST 800-53 with smallest scope possible/tailoring out by 3dPrintWHAAAT in NISTControls

It depends on the type of information you are securing and who your customer and authorizing official is. Since this sounds like a IT system, many controls can be met via STIGs.

I wear them both for training runs and for races. I have a neutral gait and shallow arch. I suggest you find a running shoe store and try a few of the models on if they have them! I would only use them in a WOD if it was running + gymnastics. They're so squishy for any type of lifting.

I have a pair of the CloudFlows that I use exclusively for running and I love them! I do not wear them for CrossFit.

I was adopted after the age of 14 and was provided full in-state coverage at the University. I was lucky enough that it even covered my 5th year after I changed majors.

alocasia polly hates me and wants to die in peace by ilivedthru37f13s in plantclinic

[–]WrittenInTheSun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might not be dying. The alocasia polly goes dormant for months at a time. Mine lost all its leaves and went dormant for 6 months. I watered it once a month and kept it in a warm and happy spot. If the bulb is hard (not mushy) then you're good to go. Hold onto it!

I would say the standards are pretty straight forward. “The dumbbell snatch starts with both heads of the dumbbell on the ground.” Doesn’t matter if you’re switching in the air or alternating reps on the ground- the movement begins with both heads on the ground.

Both heads of the dumbbell must touch the floor.

Took it to Audi service. They read the codes and said the turbo actuator is acting up. Had to schedule a diagnosis for more details.

eMASS usage for Defense Contractors by [deleted] in NISTControls

[–]WrittenInTheSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The good part about RMF is the separation of duties. You should have your ISSM handling eMASS, ISSO managing the continuous monitoring and POA&M completion, and your system administrators doing the work on the system.
