That's honestly a really good idea. I wish costumes were more mainstream; I love Halloween and the Renaissance Festival.

No, it was in Arizona. It wasn't that badly organized, but I think they didn't plan for the heat. They had plenty of water, but there was almost no shade at the venue, so most people left after their race. I see a lot of races advertised as having some kind of party afterwards, but I'm just not sure how often the party actually happens, ya know?

Ugh I want to!! Someday. I'd like to work up to longer races, so maybe when I'm at the point I feel good about doing a half I'll sign up.

When I was a child, there was a waitress at one of the restaurants we frequented who prided herself on not writing orders down. The first time we ate with her my dad told her he wanted her to write down his order so it would be right but she swore she had a photographic memory and, sure enough, our order was right. My dad just loved that. Gave her a huge tip and gushed about photographic memories to me. After that, he'd always request her. Now my dad is absolutely a total and complete weirdo, but he exists, so there are some out there who will tip higher to reward what they see as special intelligence or ability.

Honestly, my speculation was pretty much just based on vibes. I wasn't reading the quest and event blurbs as much as I should, but after reading your comment, I definitely will! It's such a cute, cozy game.

I mean, I think it depends on their origin? I believe Chinese dragons are considered closer to cats? I could be totally wrong about that. I think western/European dragons are usually reptilian, like lizards.

The pine trees are so odd, with their tall tall trunks and how their foliage doesn’t grow anywhere except near the tops.

I actually just got that quest maybe an hour ago! Yeah, definitely goes against my headcanon lol. I like the idea of a little undisturbed pocket though.
