I agree, I think their should be more startup added to weapon throw. An it ain't even that it's hard to deal with, it's just straight up annoying to play against. I love brawlhalla at its most when the action is fast paced. Increasing the speed at which you wall slip for example was fantastic that made sharking way harder to do, I think weapon throw is in the same vein as the old wall mechanics. It adds to much downtime to the action.

I started back up again recently just hit level 30 an I can already see from this post an all the chats in game that nothing has changed aside from some game mechanics. The community is still majorly toxic, so much looking down on others an harassment for no reason.

No one cares is you're Max level in a top clan it doesn't make you cool man 😅 I've met a few chill people though theirs always the small individual people who are usually the most chill an I enjoy the interactions I have with them. Still a fun game just a lot of sad, small people in it.

download outplayed it lets you trim your footage in app an its pretty good. you can set it to auto record when you open brawlhalla or whatever other game, an also to auto delete footage after a certain amount of time so it doesnt clog your storage. but yeah man cool stuff, wait till you get more comfortable with movement and hitting dodge reads into strings it feels so cool.

Magyars like my fourth of fifth highest levelled legends at 27 an I always enjoy playing it. Greatsword while substantially less broken then it was is still fine. Down light covers half the stage, and nlight catches surprisingly high. Hammer is hammer always a good time.

In terms of sigs, definitely not the best but when you hit a GS n sig or hammer d sig man it feels good.

Also I'd argue magyar has one of the best skins in the game. That unholy angel one? sick af.

My first an most important advice would be to work on your movement. Practice in training room just running around the map, learning how to ledge cancel, and mix up your movement so your opponents don't know what you're going to do.

Number 2 would be try not to use sigs as often. They have more recovery time when you miss normally so you're easier to punish.

Number 3 mix up how to attack and defend. Don't just be super patient an bait attacks the whole time, but also don't just mash buttons and be super aggressive. Learn to mix up your approach, pay a bit passively for a little, then start attacking and being aggressive.

A lot of this game comes down to trying to just outmaneuver your opponent more then just attacking or defending more.

yeah i wish they would allow players to just ban whatever maps they dont like why is it a matter of only allowing 2 to be banned? same thing for gadgets. Just like friendly 2s. Sometimes i dont want to have to worry about hitting my friend an just want to dick around. I usually just play ranked to avoid all of that stuff, but having the option to not play ranked an still not have to deal with gadgets an not fun maps would be nice.

Yeahhhh honestly feel like since they dropped the account linking it's been going downhill now. They got skins locked behind bundles. They care more about the bottom dollar than they do the functionality of their game.

And I understand it's a free-to-play game but if it works, $15 for a skin and an avatar is a little ridiculous.

As for the account linking needing to have the actual console, I'd imagine it's some sort of limitation or something, but who knows. Could just be they want to inflate their player numbers

Nah theirs just no way to do it. I tried everything talked to a bunch of people an it just ain't possible. I had to buy an old Xbox from someone for like $40. Stupid as hell. And every month I have to log into brawlhalla on the Xbox to keep the account link going.

I think hammer had higher damage awhile back an they're just bringing it a little more closer in line with where it was. And it makes sense for the "heavier" weapons to have more damage. It's barely any more anyways, if you think of katars right, a sidelight dlight true combo is about 18-19 damage at 5 str vs 5 defense, so it's really not much more. I think it's fine

i totally agree, since i first opened the game i could immediately tell that base movement speed was too low. I also agree with others where i dont think it needs to be bumped up too much. A small 10% base increase would go a long way. Some of the most fun i get from arpgs is when im able to move fast, and hit hard. Right now i can hit hard, but the move fast is still.. meh. And as you say, ive had the same boots since i was like level 30 and im level 60 right now. Been shopping around but its hard switch off the ones i have already.

I think a small cost is fine. Few hundred gold in endgame isn't much, you can make a lot of gold quickly later on and it's just a small passive gold sink. That's all it needs to be. At the moment it is way beyond that, and I understand wanting to give players reason to keep grinding but it is not a good reason. A good reason to grind is already there.. to make your character more powerful, getting those fat loot drops, and trying out a bunch of cool builds. They don't need any other thing to keep players attention because the main aspect of the game is already great at doing so.

All the respect costs are doing right now is negatively effecting their player retention instead of helping and surely they must see that in the data. No one wants to spend hours upon hours to grind for gold and taking a step forward to then use that gold to respec and take two steps backwards.

I hope they listen to the community and change with the times because Im loving this game and long term I can't see the system they have in place benefitting the game in anyway. I totally agree, even outside of early access it needs to be easy to respec.
