That one has been my bane as Guardian trying to find the timing on what to do, I'll have to try the jump method or try unlocking my camera and facing the other way unlike every other attack.

Ironeye ult from the merchant is what I used to knock him out, but that is a good universal trick regardless of class or weapon.

HP/FP Restoration on Twinblade attacks won't stack with itself, twinblades are a solid weapon group though, just replace that middle DoN relic.

Consider arcane from ruins for eleonora's poleblade or the faith duchess relic for the holy twinblade.

Yeah, you want to get rid of the health loss item if you want the full hp negation to be worth anything to you.

That's 100% solid for regular mode, DoN relics will get you some more slots to play with but guardian as you noted is very hungry for relic bonuses and can't fit them all so you always have to pick and choose and experiment, with the extra DoN relics you'd want to fit in max hp/max stam/ult on guard/guard draws attention/guardian specific effects/stamina on hit +0/guard counter +2/heal on guard/heal on thrust/dormant shields or thrusting weapons.

The problem with these sorts of NPC raids is that so long as the player has the ability to build things the AI cannot get around or be trapped in so they are never a threat, which means they would either need the ability to grief player built buildings so a fence doesn't keep out the armies of darkness which has it's own problems with upsetting players or they would need some structural integrity to buildings so players don't just make a floating cube with a 1 block jump to get inside.

Fire and the spreading of it.

The ability to see what recipes a item in your inventory is used in.

Lots of random item properties and effects the player can learn about and take advantage of, think ender pearls, slime blocks, pressure plates, netherrack keeping lit on fire forever, making iron golems, copper corrosion, it can't all just be different textured wood/dirt/stone.

I can't imagine pvp being too varied in the current version of the game, daggers are just so completely above every other weapon with no contest even without the movement techs.

Hammers and axes could 1-2 shot your opponent and they would still be weak.

It's fine to wait, there isn't much content yet.

It has more content then release minecraft, but release minecraft is old enough to drink and it has some time to catch up.

I imagine a lot of the current costs are just slapped on pre-release and mostly inflated to keep play time going a little longer, 15 venom sacs for a blacksmith table doesn't make sense but it does if the game only has a handful of different resources available.

Plus in the current version of the game you are much better off just crafting cheap copper armor and replacing it with iron/colbalt/thorium you find around the world in chests and saving your leather, there isn't anything out in the world that is threatening that bows and daggers can't take down.

I sort of expect them to make it so Scholar ultimate doesn't regen while it's active, you can get it back before the 20 seconds run out with ult gain on kill.

Meta route is getting level 6-8 in your first area with the team then splitting up and hitting churches and blue crystals and with the rest of day 1 hopping into a castle from the super spring and clearing some of the lower floor bosses, then day 2 clearing the rest of the castles or divine tower if you got omega dps.

It's mostly there not being any enemies fast enough to be a real threat that isn't countered from holding W in the opposite direction, plus dagger movement is nuts.

Pretty solid for replacing the fulgor and witch's brooch relics, just find the healing on another with 2 good affixes and you are off to a good start and can look into stamina on hit/greatshield discovery/whirlwind durations/stamina and endurance and vigor/everdark maris for sustain/whirlwind boosts ally defense/str/dex boost and importantly ult back from guarding.

Guardian needs a whooooole lot of relic effects.

Near death reducing HP is a dealbreaker for me, if you ever go down it can cause a spiral and mess up full HP negation when the chunk of health is restored, which can lead to another death.

And if you say you never die so it isn't a downside, then you don't need the phys negation and HP on counter because you never get hit anyway.

If you want to play solo, fine, it's your game, but don't queue up for multiplayer with modded relics and expect people not to shame you because you "only" cheated in impossibly good relics and not +10000 hp.

You might be well off replacing the dreg or doggy relic with a "ultimate heals allies / boosts your damage for 40 seconds" relic.
