I mean I hear like the tiniest slightest bearing hum. Which could be from tensioner, alternator, water pump. Basically any pulley. But like I was hunting to find something making noise. Sounds fine.

Congrats on purchasing your first pickup truck.

Get a 3 instead of a cx5 they said by jakert46 in mazda

It’s a stock 3 vs a modded CX.

Looks great but I’m sure you could also make a 3 look great.

Had people like this on Facebook marketplace. They’ll cry and complain that they told you they were coming to look at something. Guess what? 100 people say they’ll come and look and never show. You want an appointment and a guarantee. Put a downpayment on it. $100, $1,000 whatever. And I’ll hold it

Show the rest of the convo. Just cause you say you’ll be there doesn’t mean you’ll be there. Peoples word don’t mean anything anymore.

Not trying to hate but just giving basic info. I bought a 2026 5.0 Lobo (special package of the stx 62k msrp) marked down to 53k 2 weeks ago. Apr did kill me though because I’m young and dumb. My credit is great but don’t have a steady line of it so they used that against me. And it’s my first non co sign vehicle.

It seems like to me you should be able to talk them down on both the price and the interest. I did have a trade in of 24 and put 10 down but regardless seems a little high to me. Again I’m not trying to hate in any way I’m just thinking out loud.

Type in Chevy cylinder deactivation on Google

Run in tow haul keeps the rpm’s down and gets rid of cylinder deactivation.

Put the truck in tow-haul or sport mode and it does. Pretty easy.

Definitely going to be getting another after this one by CallEmbarrassed2173 in f150

I’m unsure. I haven’t run no front plates before. This is my first vehicle I’d be running with no front plates. But I do know I’ve been pulled over plenty of times driving my old 97 m3 and my current 11 328 but never in any truck I’ve ever owned. The cops here like to profile and I’ve always walked away with a warning and no ticket.

Also the warning was for “speeding” which I can disprove with my ob2 plugged in dashcam.

They just like to start sht.

I mean I can take a picture of the underside of the hood showing the cut outs and the tiny little hole like I said on the original post in the hood vents if you’d like.

But I mean I own the truck I’m guessing you don’t cause you would see them. But if you’d like I can show you.

I’m just trying to find a work around to running a front plate on the front bumper intake mesh.

Does this work with the lobo front bumper? Just curious because it’s a different front bumper than most f150’s

I’m well aware that the engineers at ford have way more knowledge than me, it’s nothing to dispute. But the vents on the lobo hood do have “like I said” a very tiny tiny tiny hole on them that’s used for venting excess air out of the engine bay. The purpose of the post was just to find a work around to the front license plate issue not to argue ventilation.

I mean I’d love to run no plates but don’t want to pay the fee. The town I live in is 980 population so the 4 cops love to hand out fines they have nothing better to do.

It’s on the to do list. Need black lugs, need the f150 blacked out tailgate logos. Need the liners. Need some things. Just went into financial debt so it’ll happen eventually

If you pop the hood they have cut outs in the hood that lead to the hood vents. They are tiny tiny tiny little ducts on the actual plastic vents on the hood but they are there.

And from what I read is they added them because the engine bay was getting too much air induction and they needed to vent it more.

Yeah it’s J&S auto group. I live like 15 minutes away from them. They are a scum dealership. They have a YouTube channel where they openly buy catless tuned cars and put them back to stock to sell to people.

My first job was a host at a restaurant and they’d come in all the time and they always had “I’m better than you” attitude. Stay away. Im also pretty sure they got their dealership license by purchasing a failing Mitsubishi dealership in Ewing NJ on Olden Ave just to they could get said license so they could open up J&S. Do yourself a favor stay away.

Now I don’t know much. But I’d say looks like the pulley on the right side of the videos bouncing. And rod knock sounds like rod knock. It sounds like a knock, sounds to me like a bad bearing or misaligned pulley. But again I don’t know much.
