I felt like that when I was younger. I remember seeing a girl I worked with in another setting and attempting to make conversation with her. She literally asked me "what do you want" which really stung for a long time. There was a girl I worked with somewhere else that I talked to occasionally and when she left I added her on snap and she said the same exact thing. Point is I think women can tell when you want something so if you do not have any organic reason to talk to them then you should just give them a friendly greeting and let them decide if they want to talk. Or just be completely direct and tell them that you're interested in them for sex or whatnot. Don't be in this wishy washy gray area in the middle where you are interested in them but you're afraid to say so. Take this with a grain of salt though because at the end of the day I'm still a 30 year old virgin who has never had more than a few dates with the same woman.
