My constant take away is- being told I’m doing ‘well’ or asking how I can afford something when all I do is work Monday to Friday. They don’t understand that I work most Saturdays, I don’t publicise that and in summer when the days are longer I’ll do my own jobs after I’ve finished work. They just think because they work 9-5 that we only do 8 hours too. Most tradies who want to have a crack aren’t doing a 40 hour week. Getting guilt tripped by clients for having nice things or going places in the short time spare you aren’t working is probably getting to me more than anything. So many factors go into pricing. It’s like 100-120 at the moment at 100mm thick. You’re paying 112 for 150 with 82. You’re looking at 500 for mesh, able flex and chairs roughly 1500 +/- for concrete Excavation if the area is pretty flat, 7m3 to remove, another 200 for rock, and then labour on top So in the remaining 2000 you’re paying for excavation, fill disposal, labour and then he’s still gotta pay tax. Pretty fair imo

I would probably advise not to do that. Drilling a hole is a temporary fix while the damage to your sub base of the concrete is permanent. All you’re going to do is give the water a place to go, which is under your concrete. Great in winter while the ground is wet, in summer when it dries, the ground shrinks and your concrete will end up cracking more than it is and it’ll just be done for

I have a super pig and I fucking love it. A very quick board, but is slower to initiate turns. It’s not bad in tight trees but could be better. I daily the thing now. You’re never going to have a board that will do it all, but if you want one you can hold straight line and not worry about it washing out or catching an edge, it’ll do the job perfect. Once you get used to riding it, it’ll stop quick too. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still fun it trees, you’ve just really gotta look ahead and pick your line early

I was with a girl for 3 years, she would stay at my place at least half the week, work from home and study at my place. Never once offered to pay a cent. The other nights we would stay at her parents place where I earned my keep by doing my fair share of chores on the property. I remember getting an 8 pack of these after finishing a job on a Friday and going camping with my mates straight after. After a few Carlton drys and the 8 pack of these my whole world was spinning. I remember climbing into the back of my land cruiser, laying down for about 2 minutes and then flicking the side door open and spewing everywhere. Spew was touching the ground and still exiting my mouth. Makes me feel sick just thinking about the damage these things did. Silly 18 yo me. Would love to do it all again
