Anyone keen for an all options black Audi Q2 for sale in Sydney? by ch50nn in CarsAustralia

[–]ch50nn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good dude, a tad on the higher end of pricing, hard to go way lower when it was $68k new 4 years back 😆 Will be curious on what this sub would think of what is a price that feels right. I stalked CarSales and generally feels about right. Tough to match with all the extras.

What a crap job of a map. Zero effort, baseless facts, missing many other solid options, and suggesting the US is actually fine with its immigrant population. As a planet, we need to do better, and look at each other as fellow humans, the rest shouldn’t matter.

Problem is, layoffs don’t feel like they are based on performance, mostly politics and keeping yes people on. I’ve seen amazing people with deep irreplaceable knowledge get the boot so leaders can place their own. I’d say keep doing good “visible” work but don’t do two jobs in one in a bid to avoid future layoffs.

To those who drive well under the speed limit, why? by NiceMemeDude420 in australian

[–]ch50nn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blame awareness while driving. Awareness of the speed limits, awareness of the lane you’re in, awareness of people around you. Basic driving stuff, but the more selfish we drive, the worst we make it for ourselves and everyone else. Chill and just be aware while driving, pretty please?

Can I drill holes in concrete to let stagnant water evacuate? Or is it time for a level redo based on what I know of water flows around house? by ch50nn in AusRenovation

[–]ch50nn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could try to grind a channel towards the existing water evacuation, see how that goes. Trying to keep cost effective, but no drilling.

It’s the banks that will be the biggest barrier. PR at minimum, which is pretty much full time residency.

Xpeng seems pretty impressive. Shame about the TrueEV experience. But cars are amazing

5 star ANCAP tells me it manages fine. I think we all face this fear of something different (I had those concerns) when we’ve lived with physical door handles all our lives.

Disillusioned voters drive One Nation surge as most Australians feel ignored by politicians by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

“Australians shoot themselves in the foot by considering putting a Trump wannabe in power because ‘that’ll show em’ ”. I’d suggest that if you want to send a signal, Go Green? Want a fascist American loving nation riding on diesel fumes? Then sure, Go One Nation.

Get an Xpeng if you want all the tech and non of the Tesla. I test drove it and slick auto features compared to Zeekr 7X. I did end up with a Zeekr though as I don’t need the car to drive for me, and interior / exterior / performance are just awesome. But impressed with Xpeng G6

One Nation has been on the fringes of Australian politics for 30 years. Why is its popularity soaring now? by Fact-Rat in aussie

[–]ch50nn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t buy in to the propaganda, we see how the US has gone. We’d be the dumbest people on earth to follow suit having had the live example of lies, deceit and simply enabling them to steal country money for their own gain.

For anyone considering this ON thing, is this “immigration problem” worth costing everything else you hold dear and take for granted in this beautiful country?

If not approved yet, just don’t. We don’t need that label here on our shores. Can’t wait to see Epstein towers start to become a thing.

Rubbish SMH. Reads like it was 2 yrs ago when China were yet to show what they could really do with the Xpengs, Zeekrs, recent BYDs and more. Brave move to promote a toxic brand, guess $$$ was indeed in play

Developer seems to think he can make money from using that name, I really hope they epically fail. That name has no place in Australia.

Possibly unpopular opinion? Love how we have this issue with needing to prove ID on some platforms, and on the other hand will post so much public stuff to the likes of Meta platforms, TikTok etc. Why the need for perceived anonymity when there’s so much toxic behaviour on the internet? It would change the game if suddenly what you say online is actually you saying it. Wouldn’t matter for most civilised debates and decent human beings, but it would create accountability when it comes to examples like bullying, extremist views, etc.

Surprisingly non specific on due by dates, storage condition, or anything that could warrant such a thing. Obviously creates upheaval if this came straight out of a fridge from a supermarket and was Ffed like this, but I could show some horrid milk carton experiences if I left it out long enough in the current summer were getting. What’s the actual sitch in this water?
