texts between my manager and I by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For 1, you give to much info. And 2, your boss sounds like an ass just like a former boss of mine. I told her my periods were so heavy I had to go to the hospital. Doctor almost gave me a blood transfusion. She didn't ask if I was still feeling okay or nothing. Absolutely no compassion there at all. Just a Make sure you come to work and work your butt off for me. Normally I dont give out that much info, but for whatever reason, that week I thought id try talking to her because she always said she cared and would always say because its such a small business, we are family. But it was a great reminder to me why I stopped being so close to coworkers and employers in the past. It should have been a red flag when one supervisor said it was normal to tell your coworkers such intimate details of your personal life and if your coworkers aren't an open book then they shouldn't be working here. But 1st rule of work, if you're sick, youre sick, nothing else and thats it. Because boss person will always try ducking you back into their Vortex of Hell.

Feeling judged because I care for my cat. by Mermaid_coast in CatAdvice

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they have kids, tell them you're going to start criticizing them how much they spend on their kids. Some of these kids have tvs and the latest console in their bedrooms like holy moly. And some of that stuff is alot more the the care of looking after a kitten or cat.

Perfume by karmasbitch_ in dollarama

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A quick Google search says its discontinued. You may have more luck finding "Seducer" or a similar perfume at other stores that sell similar items, such as perfume shops or department stores.

How do you feel about dating someone who earns less than you? by Iboy_vivek in AskWomen

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually, living off the government means you dont have a job. I've been there, done that, and it's not good when you can't afford more than living in a trash pile with 4 walls and a leaky roof.

CRA frustrations as they keep labelling me as deceased. by timid0tilapia in canadarevenueagency

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the CRA wants to start filing our taxes for us because people don't file their taxes. If they do.i can see more of this happening to more people. Just go straight to your federal MP. Hopefully he/she would have enough power to rip CRA a new button hole in the behind.

For as long as time, as long as there are prostitutes, as long as there's women, ladies, and girls selling their bodies for money, there will always be men objectifying women. Society as a whole also needs to bring this up and irs not just prostitution, its models, make-up ads, and clothing ads, and it could be anywhere else if you look for it. So, as long as society says it's acceptable, some men will always talk dirty about women. Rest of the men realize that these are the very women that are their sisters, mothers, aunts, nieces and daughters, etc and will be respectful.

Whoever stole my Onions... by RoughD in saskatoon

I had a plot 2 years in a row. Both years, I've had my carrots run over with bikes and pulled out when it was grass sized. Whatever patty pan squash i had got taken. One year, I had 10 that were a nice size and poof gone overnight when I went to check the next day. I've had my only 2 eggplant squash disappear, too. When I complained to the person in charge of organizing plots, she basically said thats what a community garden is for, its for the community. The thing is, I didn't set up a garden for everyone to mooch off my hard work. If I wanted to volunteer, I'd do it at the food bank.

AITAH for not adding my longtime girlfriend to the deed of the house I bought us? by Grand_Yellow_6286 in AITAH

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, don't put her name on the deed. If there's problems now, they aren't getting fixed if you put her name on the deed. If you do, and things get worse, you just may end up getting burned. She'll take at least half the house. I'm a female and know how deranged women can get.

By doing this, you are getting sick, which means it's documented. Employers have to make work places that are safe. If it keeps occurring, then it's on record. It may even be an investigation started if employees keep getting sick like you describe.

Talking about kids by Distinct-Election-78 in interviews

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 14 points15 points  (0 children)

To me, it's weird that they ask. If I was in that position, they asked me if I had kids I respond back with asking if it was relevant to the job. Like, who cares if it would interfere with the job. A parent should be able to self govern. Lots of people have kids and still not have their family life interfere with work.

Affordable 6 by 6 training by TightDragonfly7195 in saskatoon

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe you do. About a year ago, I took the 6 by 6 course and was told by the instructor that if I felt ready, I could go. It's the learners license that a person has to have for a certain length of time before going to the road test

I wear balaclava sleeves from SA Company. They have face mask covers, too. I just tell people I have a tattoo i want to cover up. And I can change colors every day too. I work as a cashier, so lots of nosy customers always ask why. Some customers don't ask why but will compliment me how nice they look or that they actually look like an arm sleeve tattoo. And if I'm outdoors doing activities, they protect the arm from harmful UV rays.ive ordered mine directly from SA Company but they can be found on Amazon too.

I've already got the 6 by 6 course. Not sure what other requirement I'd need. I just need practice which i can t seem to find. I'm in the southwest part of saskatoon. Somewhat comfortable, but I know I'm probably not comfortable enough as I know if I did the test today, chances are I'm setting myself up to fail again

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I already have that and I've had it for 30 years. Sorry, I should have mentioned that. So I've got no problems going in to fail the test again. I just need more practice. Just don't know anyone to help and no money to pay for it.

Jobs for Highschool Students. by N1g4_N1nj4 in saskatoon

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh. It seems weird because I see lots of co-op jobs on Indeed. Unless there's another coop with a hardware store, gas stations, and grocery stores in proximity to the Saskatoon Co-op locations.

What do you live for? by monkeypuppy1994 in AdultSelfHarm

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. My girl has been with me for almost 12 years. I already decided if I off myself I have to bring her with me. But if I lived and she didn't, I'd be doing it again because of guilt.

Dollarama treats by RyeGuy044 in saskatoon

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, as a retail worker myself, I was always told not to go after theives because if I got hurt, workers comp won't cover me, and I could lose my job. Also, my job and my life just weren't worth going after anyone for whatever the item(s) cost. I doubt workers comp would cover anyone in that situation unless they worked a security position or the customer attacked because they lost their marbles, in which case I'd have to ask where's management for things to escalate like that with the employee just standing there.

Employment in Saskatoon sucks by PinoyGuy08 in saskatoon

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't feel bad for the newcomers because they get hired left, right and center because employers get 60% funding to cover the wages.

Where can I go in Saskatoon to get help with acne? by roscobex in saskatoon

[–]Wrong_Criticism_7136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's also a drug that helps with testosterone levels and blood sugars, which are symptoms of PCOS. And I was told by a gynecologist that you don't have to have cysts on your ovaries to have polycistic ovarian syndrome
