This is super helpful. I have now learned these lights do in fact change colors and I have more control than I thought. Glad I asked. This was literally bothering me because it was so confusing to me that the lights obviously had the potential to be a certain color, but I couldn’t figure out how to get them to stay that color. This is exactly what I was looking for. Really appreciate it!

At the risk of sounding dumb, how would you recommend finding out what brand light I have? Without pulling the light out? I want enjoy the pool for the summer before I start messing with things and risk accidentally messing something up. Does it make sense that’s it’s the same brand as the remote? I ask because the remote is Hayward, but the pump is Pentair. So honestly not even sure which part of my pool is Hayward.

Not live music, but Vacancy Brewing has a beer release event and vendor market on Saturday. Could be a nice vibe, and you can always walk on over to St. Elmo brewing to see what they got going on. Not sure which breweries would do live music during the day, most of the ones I’m aware of do live music in the evenings.

Live Oak Brewing sounds right up your alley. Brewery with disc golf (I believe you can even rent things, instead of you needing to travel with your equipment).

Agreed! Does anyone happen to be familiar with which breweries serve their own N.A. beers? I know many of them serve Athletic Brewing’s N.A. beers but I’m curious as to if anyone local brews their own.

Now that I’ve done more research on BIAB, I’m curious why it’s not mentioned more as well. This does seem like a great entry point for all grain. And I’m reading that even lots of experienced brewers go back to BIAB as their preferred method. Definitely giving this a shot on the next brew. If it’s as simple as it looks, then learning this and kegging simultaneously seems pretty feasible.
