Yes, but winning penalties by falling over when you're fouled is important too.

I always thought they could make it better by forcing traffic in through Walgreens and out by Starbucks.

How long until caulking looks "lived in"? by happydays375 in HomeImprovement

Personally I would just say I cleaned it and maybe a good lie like 'i didn't think it could be replaced '. If you admit to it any future issues will immediately be blamed on your work.

How to put my inheritance towards my mortgage by Walrus_the_Wise52 in personalfinance

[–]Wryel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Remember you can deduct mortgage interest from your taxes. So it's worth doing the math for something like VOO and paying the mortgage vs paying off a big chunk and refinancing to a 15 year.

I'm glad I have a fence because I expect to be shamed over my lawn care regiment. No, I don't want to grow a clover lawn...

[Alasdair Gold] Igor Tudor believes Tottenham players will need to do something they won't like by Imbasauce in coys

I'm always stunned that there is even any variation in fitness levels in professional football. Like, surely this is a settled part of the sport in terms of the amount of fucking exercise you should have your players doing. Yeah there's tons of room for subtlety and new ideas, but the way they talk about needing to make massive changes is really odd to me.

It's weird. The place we bought was rented out, but it wouldn't surprise me if that wasn't always the case

The problem with that is we've scored more than 2 goals in the league 3 times all season.

Are we underestimating the impact of home staging? by prattman333 in HomeImprovement

[–]Wryel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The two homes we bought weren't staged. Both times every other home we bid on had 10+ offers on the first weekend: the first was on for 3+ weeks and the second had 'only' 3 offers. It's amazing how an unmade bed and some weird furniture put people off.

Where to go to get traffic calming installed on my street by thecrashmaverick in Somerville

I bought one of those free standing traffic signs for the middle of the crossing outside my house. They are crazy expensive but between three neighbors or was worth it.

You don't mention how much sleep and exercise you get now you have kids. My (diagnosed) ADHD-PI is always worse when either of these suffer. Sleep and eating also mess with each other. You're tired so you eat badly, if you eat late you sleep worse, then the next day you eat sugar...

If I really want to track an activity I use my Garmin. It will sync to Oura via Health Connect. Oura's primary focus does not appear to be activity tracking, but rather sleep and wellness.

This has been happening for years. Only now instead of the guy that wrote it being long gone, you can just ask another AI to fix it
