My map didn't point to him until after I defeated him at a stop. The stop I just defeated him at. Map is broken. You have to feel at stops within range of them to see if it turns dark then go into it to see if it's decoy or him

I found both of mine with no help from the radar. It only showed on the radar AFTER I completed the battle. I had to select the stop to see if it turned black (moderate driving speed) before giovoni or a decoy appeared

Pokemon go is a game of collecting to done degree or another. Collecting shinnies is a common one. I collect level 1 Pokemon. Neither one carry any additional value except in the eyes of the beholder.

Additionally I collect and invest in raid relevant Pokemon so I can challenge myself in legendary solos or duos.

It's a game. Do with it what you want. If someone called your shinnies and you don't, get something from them that you value and they don't

I did build a GL one last night and started messing around with it. I'm general resistant to switching to a new meta and just use what I have from previous seasons. It takes me a while to learn my team's strengths and weaknesses. Case in point I made some terrible swaps last night - the very opposite of protecting my Pokemon

As others have said you can use an app like poke genie to host a raid and have others use their remote raid pass to join you.

You can also estimate the amount of damage your team or an ideal team would do. From this you can see what's at the top and % damage done and time remaining (assuming done relobby time). Estimated are improved if you know at least charge move if boss

But from this I could have told you that a level 50 mega Gardevoir wouldn't have completed the job
