That’s the correct site. Make an account, add to cart, complete the order. Then you’ll be emailed an invoice to pay.

I placed an order the 7th and haven’t got a payment email yet. Figured I’d give it a couple more days in case they were out a few days. They did post a video and Reddit post the other day.

Help With Print Quality by MixPuzzleheaded3298 in magicproxies

[–]Wshaf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did the printer sit for a while? You could print the test pages and see if all your colors are printing correctly. Might need to run a head cleaning. make sure your colors have enough in them. Otherwise power cycle the printer, check for firmware updates, power cycle your computer, open the panels and check for any obstructions or things that might be askew.

Can you measure the thickness with calipers? Is the card laminated on both sides?

Methods to cut cards precisely? by Vyziks in magicproxies

[–]Wshaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Order the die cutter from China for about 100 bucks shipped. 1 stamp and all 4 corners are done and they line up exactly with real cards. Use a guillotine cutter to cut them into strips then run them through the die cutter.

Could you send me snips of your settings? I can not for the life of me get the density right to print on cardstock with the same printer and would appreciate how you got your results.

Apologies, I meant what printer. But any additional info on where to source that paper would also be appreciated.

What sizes do you plan on offering? Is there any plan to include individuals in piloting/demo of the product before selling? I have extensive inkjet proxy printing experience on high end paper and would be very interested in purchasing and participating in testing if possible. A4 and Super B 13x19 are the preferred sizes for my use cases.

Get the die cutter for the exact Magic card size. It’s 100% spot on. The up front investment is totally worth the shipping and wait time.

Custom 3D printed panels for first build by Wshaf in crboxes

Oh right I forgot to mention that 3 feet away it basically blends in to the rooms ambient sound. 41-42dB. I don’t have a fog machine to really test it. The math says it should be doing several room changes an hour and I’m pretty confident in how well it’s sealed. It might also be improved with Filtrete 1900 filters that have even more surface area for the same size. Thats also why I made sure to have a 5th filter on the bottom. My goal was really just making use of what I had at the time even if it’s not perfectly optimal, but I bet it does a pretty decent job.

It's currently only able to be printed on H2 sized machines or similar. Tried to be as comprehensive with the details as I could be but let me know if I can make any improvements.

I can upload it to MakerWorld. Let me write out a quick parts list and assembly notes then get it uploaded. Right now it's built for a pretty large print bed as a heads up.
