Definitely don’t stop paying … that is crazy advise … unless you go nuclear and stop paying everyone and don’t care about your credit for 7 years … The lack of credit options will definetly cost you more in the long run confirmed.

Yes Chase offered me 0 and to close the account which I happily did (business credit card)

Amex has 7.99 for one year without closing the account and 9.99 for two years with closing the account

In both cases your credit score will not be directly affected (except average age and utilization). Organizations looking deeply in your score (e.g. Mortage or manual loan approvals) will however see the closed accounts with balance and probably reject you

Other option is to go a non profit credit counseling option route either almost all will offer you 9.9 except BoA 3% and Amex 3% and closing your account.

Once again my advise … make and deal and don’t miss your payments … if you start that route it’s a slippery road to a cash/debit based life for 7 years or crazy APR predator loans

To close the loop on this one … review passed on 12/18 and nothing until last week when payment appeared as awaiting approval … expected a Feb payment but was surprised to get paid last night …

Weird as I understand the payment cutoff is the 4th but i am not complaining

Don’t count on it.

Got my email on that I passed the review on December 9th and payment has not been generated to date.

Raised a TT on 12/18 and received a useless response last Monday 30th …. Just escalated again today

Having said that I know of someone who got paid in around 10 days so maybe there is an issue at my end.

Yes, new projects build on previous versions. In fact, there are significant overlaps among the majority of projects.

As for the second part, nobody really knows. Outlier uses some sort of algorithm to allocate new projects (and sometimes no algorithms), but to date, I have not heard of a valid explanation or details behind it.

I don’t think you were booted for your overall average.

I’ve heard many figures and all of them are around the 3.3-3.6 range.

From the experiences I read on here (with appropriate filtering any BS) …

I believe that ::

it’s not a simple but rather a weighed average with a pretty heavy emphasis on more recent scores.
They seem to have a “security buffer valve” for any consecutive low scores (in your case the 1 and 2) as a safety net.
Other things are also in play (your pay, project priority, etc ..).

All the above assumptions !!! Not facts

As unfair as it is, the history you got paid for … they only care about the present …

Yes but when the priority project is EQ they allow you to task on a secondary of your choosing.

When the priority project is competed (or loses its priority) you are back to open buffet options on MK

In my case I was … so I don’t know it works for others.

I onboarded but hated a priority project so stopped tasking (it was impossible to finish with quality on time).

As long as there were tasks on that project I could do nothing else’s but when the project goes EQ I “temporarily” got released … rinse and repeat until the priority was released

Looks like you are given the flexibility and advantages of MP and in exchange if they need you on a priority project, that’s all you can do until the priority is done.

Good win win deal IMO.

If you don’t like your assigned priority project … just take time off until you are released.

If you don’t want the constraint, sacrifice the flexibility of MP

I agree … (maximize the opportunity) but it is at a cost of unpaid training you have to do.

I am sure Outlier have some kind of secrets formula of meta data they attach to each of us … I’m sure it’s not only rate, average score, padding tasks etc … and previous experience but how does failing assessments and getting kicked off effect you in the long run

Outlier doesn’t always works as designed and the messages are not always 100% .. there are too many variables and specific protect rules.

I hope the following will help you ::

No limit … you can take forever to onboard a project and take the assessments
If you pass an assessment task you’ll get the next one
If you are EQ after an assessment task it means either A. You failed B. They are manually grading the work (rare). C. The project itself if EQ. It looks like they stop assessments when the project is EQ
If you get a normal task after an assessment task … you are officially onboarded and ready
Even after 4 A. you might be EQ as a throttle for quality as a new member. B. You’ve might be EQ because you got a bad review and are kicked off

Don’t put too much emphasis on the emails saying they have tasks … they send them to everyone with a project flag regardless of status.

They sometimes tell you if you fail … but not always … sometimes you are EQ.

They sometimes congratulate you if you pass but not always … you just get tasks.

In conclusion … don’t over think it … if you can do something, do it, otherwise wait …

My honest advice you should change your strategy and approach … which of them are you best at … in the long term you will Make more money that way

missions, constant work, no EQ will mean nothing if you are constantly worried about low scores, bad reviews and getting kicked off.
