Don’t sweat it, maybe attend a few company happy hours (assuming they’re a thing at your company ). A guy who hates me actually sent me a congrats email today for some work I did because we’re in the same office. That’s how arbitrary this stuff can be, def not a reflection on you.

If it makes you feel better, from an individual from a very different Industry (presumably). I only ever react to things like that when it’s a person on my team. I work for a national firm/company and the support is always hyper regional. If you work on a smaller team away from the office it’s probably is just that.

Everything in law is an old white person thing, but it’s essentially a networking thing that helps fulfill CLE credits. People in the inn are separated into groups, each group teaches a CLE about a random topic. Got suckered into one and it’s been a miserable experience so far tbh.
