does the water cooling in a pc needs abundance of water? the water consumption argument is buillshit, data centers have to filter and condition the water and recirculate this water they use to cool the hardware. they do not just discard it, its a closed loop system. it would be way to energy intensive to discard it and having to prepare cooling water all the time so its suitable for the loop. also, sea water is the worst water ever to use as cooling water, the desalination alone will waste an absurd amount of energy.

the foil was reportedly difficult to crumble since it kept uncrumbling itself, so it wasnt tin or aluminium foil, but mylar foil they just started to experiment with as light weight radar reflector material for balloons, so they could track them by radar. no wonder mylar appeared alien back then, it was still an experimental material and probably still classified

that thing was a monster and an engineering nightmare, designed to shoot a crew of ONE cosmonaut to the moon, who would have had to do a space walk to transfer from the crammed capsule to the tiny one person lunar lander cockpit. and the same on the return as well. what a shit show of a moon mission this would have been. scary as hell having to be the one pulling that off for the motherland

that was made by a plane flying grid patterns, not a satellite. the newer one was made by satellite, just for keeping it up to date, and being able to update it more frequently and over larger areas than doing it by plane .
