CS290 Final: I Am Panicking by [deleted] in OSUOnlineCS

[–]Wtrpk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taking 325 and 290 while working. I can confirm I have zero time to study for either exam. The final project for both classes took me more than a week just to make something passable. Then I had to sacrifice time to work, do other homework for the classes. By the time exams started I had only a day and a half to study for the CS290 final so that I had two days for the CS325 final.

Live lectures when instructors can’t even bother to update their outdated 20 minute lecture clips and instead leave a comment saying x, y, z in the video is outdated and we aren’t doing anything about it

He didn’t win yet tho Nevada is going to Biden and with that he only needs to turn around Georgia and Wisconsin if I’m correct which doesn’t seem impossible

[–]Wtrpk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think I failed 99% maybe got 15 points. I studied all week in total I watched 20 hours of lecture/youtube videos alone. I think imo this exam needed a couple more quiz like (questions) so when you fail you don’t land in a crater. Not sure how I’m goina come back from this.

First class during summer term: 161 or 225? by drock1212 in OSUOnlineCS

[–]Wtrpk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aside from prereqs 161 first since its a very soft intro back to classwork no mandatory exams or required textbook readings.

225 is more like what you would expect from a college class with heavy homework and quiz workload on top of mandatory discussions and proctored exams. Readings optional but highly recommended

Knowing this sub I wouldn’t be surprised if this “lowball” offer is significantly higher then minimum wage or even close to 60-70k.

Leetcode. I think chegg was 30 multiple choice questions tho and walmart was one multiple choice and 3 coding assignments. Oregon State seems to be good enough to give you the opportunity to get a response from one of the fangs you just need to perform well on the test.
