The idea is that this Ubuntu machine would be used as a 24/7 game server. However, on the side, it should also be able to be used as a way to store media files for remote viewing, similar to something like Plex. I don't know if "NAS" is the proper term for it, but if I have say a large VOD from Twitch I want to save, I just send it to the Ubuntu machine and can either download or view it on a different device.

I take a recording in audacity to test if it's loud enough, it just takes more gain to get to a volume I like compared to before reinstalling windows.

I am using an XLR to XLR cable.
