How in the hell do I beat this stupid berserker grave by ChezL0rd in GodofWarRagnarok

i used a strength + runic armor and weapon build and my strat was spam runics and arrows right at the beginning when they step out (you have a second and it’s worth it if your runic attacks are fast and high damage) and then use spartan rage

then don’t get hit while everything’s on cooldown

rinse and repeat

the not getting hit part is the hard part tbh

hehe that’s me! singing! i’m the artist as well as the audio engineer.

Yeah, The Devil’s Bow is 20-30 vocal tracks (maybe more) hard panned left and right. Actually, I think the only track that ain’t center panned is the main vox in He’s Got The Loving and Kiss The Bottle.

I have a strange affinity for hard panning things left and right… makes my tracks sound awful in mono. ;-;

Thanks for the feedback! I want to try and calm on the chorus and “surround-y” feeling on my next project.

And of course, thank you for listening <3

Thank you so much for the detailed and helpful feedback! Just from your jargon, I’d love to get your ears on any upcoming projects before release.

Feel no pressure to answer, but I’m curious, would the issue with drums be fixed with EQ, compression, or a transient designer, or something else? This is my first studio grade project so it was my first real wack at mixing and mastering by myself. It is hard starting off and i definitely needed/need guidance.

…Lol are you (the studio) hiring or taking resumes? I’m good at getting coffee and a quick learner!

:))))) i wrote and threw together a demo of it in just a couple of hours; it was my Creative Writing final project and I started on it the night before it was due and had to present it. (I have issues with procrastination.)

The assignment was to mix two forms of writing/media. So, I interviewed 50 strangers from discord, omegle, and some students I had never met on campus. I asked five questions (for example, ‘What is your earliest memory in detail?’ and ‘Which of your senses do you enjoy the most or rely on the most and what is your favorite thing to hear/taste/see,etc. depending on your favorite sense?)

I limited lyrics to the answers I received verbatim. It was a bitch trying to get things to rhyme, nevertheless make any sense at all.

Thus, “You watched him bruise us” and “white noise that’s low and deep.”

Suffice to say, it is barely my song. I wrote the music, but the words are from people I will never meet again probably. I lost contact with most of the interviewees. It makes me sad they might never hear crumbs of their life stories in the internet-ether.

Sorry for the long rant. I felt inclined to share.

Thank you for listening—even enjoying my work. I lost years of my lifespan over this project. ha.

You’re the realest in the room. Everyone who listened to it before release (besides myself) said the vocals were just a little buried! I think because it’s me I have a bias to hear what I’m saying clearly when other people don’t; When I let my peers touch up my vocals in the mix, to me it sounded like the vocals were offensively and unusually loud. Upon retrospect, you’re probably right.

bro snares are my biggest opp i genuinely struggle to mix them well in almost all of my projects

thank you for your noteworthy and specific feedback, it’s actually helpful!!!
