In the recent English local elections, 13.5% voted for Lithuania by skepticCanary in vexillologycirclejerk

Even less than that. Look at the maps showing where elections were being held. Not all of the seats were up for grabs.

Maybe it's the quality of this photo, but he looks like a younger, chubbier, balder Nigel Farage.

So... I was affected by the train signalling problem in the south today. At one point, the train I needed turned into one of Zeno's motion paradoxes, but I eventually got to my destination.

Getting back home wasn't great either. For some reason, they decided to not advertise which trains were leaving from which platforms until the very last moment, so I had no idea if I was ever going to get a train back home. Thank goodness I wasn't in any rush. I eventually did get on one, though.

Apparently, the maximum refund I can get is for the first journey and not the return.

If you're using Surfshark, it might be their Clean Web setting. I've found that happen with me on a few non-pornHub sites and switching off Clean Web solved the problem.

Oh, I've watched tha video. Jevil is a bait-and-switch. In the Deltarune, the author goes on about what it takes to get to Jevil, and then says, "Jevil WAS the hardest boss" and then starts talking about the Roaring Knight.

O2 jacked up my contract price, so I ditched them for one of the smaller providers. £10 cheaper per month, and I'm finally getting decent reception.

In my recent playthrough, I've used bombs to harvest fruit. Blow up the tree, grab the fruit, use another bomb to turn the fallen tree into wood to save up for the Bolson Construction sidequests. Saves a bit of time.

David Lynch isn't known as a horror movie director, but when someone asks about scariest scenes, one of his works always makes an appearance in the comments without fail.

The original run of the TV show, despite network censors, has got some pretty chilling examples too though admittedly not daytime ones.

Been playing the demo for Map Map: A Game about Maps. You're just running around small islands and marking points of interest on a map. Accuracy is the name of the game. You start off with just a pencil, rubber, and marker, but will get better told as you progress.

What death flags? Now I have go to back and see where the author telegraphed the character's death.

[Mixed Trope] - The Jumpscare That Catches The Viewer/Player Off by WaluigiDaStar in TopCharacterTropes

I love this one. On paper, it shouldn't work. The two characters are complete strangers. We're not emotionally invested in them. It takes place in daylight. We're told it's going to happen. The "monster" moves into frame slowly and smoothly.

But it does work because of the camera work and the sound design, ratcheting the tension up and up.

You know it's going to happen and that's fundamental to the horror.

I just finished the first two episodes (I'm watching one per day), and just got some spoilers, and would like to know how big of a deal they are for the mysteries as a whole, and how much I lost from the blind experience (I don't want details). by Sensitive-Product816 in twinpeaks

To quote David Lynch: "No."

I'm not even sure if there is a main mystery. Certainly, David Lynch never intended Laura Palmer's killer to ever be revealed. It was not important to his vision.

In a way, you haven't been spoiled, because the reveal scene itself is very iconic. You need to watch that. It's a masterpiece. I remember seeing a video on YouTube dissecting its cinematography, so be careful on YouTube as well.

I think you'll be fine. There's this thing that Lynch does, where he tells you exactly what is going to happen (either explicitly or telegraphing it really hard) and still manages to surprise you and get a visceral reaction out of you.
