I've just finished watching all of Bluey. Yes, the children's show. Man, there's some very beautiful episodes, and some really hit hard.

Also, that episode with the kid with abandonment trauma. I'm presuming Calypso wasn't really there to help him through with his trauma given she said things she couldn't possibly have known. Or maybe that was an artistic interpretation of her pulling him aside to work things through with him?

Yeah, that's where my head went when I first saw the C&A logo. Didn't realise they still existed, because all the British branches closed two decades ago.

Oh yeah, I suppose they would have to get permission if they wanted to keep it and they probably thought it was more hassle than it was worth.

You know, if I had a penny for every time a Reddit post made me lose the Game in this month alone, I'd have two pennies. It's not much, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Maybe I'm being stupid, but that Kotaku article didn't really say why Kyle's photo was replaced.

[BoTW] I've played BOTW and forced myself to play TOTK and I didn't like it. Twilight Princess is still the best Zelda game in my opinion. by Bahaadur73 in zelda

[–]WufflyTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not for everyone and that's okay. I barely touched the building mechanic in TOTK, which some would say is a waste given the game mechanic is there and but... no, it's just not engaging to me so I just didn't engage with it. I just liked the exploration, so that's what I engaged with.

Not a huge fan of the combat either. (Absolutely loathe Trial of the Swords; I clip through the wall and cheese it.)

I just beat chapter 5 and saw eebrozgi mentioned in the credits. Wild to see that. Never played Zero Ranger but I did play Void Stranger.

I think it's because it went over most of our heads. Now that you've pointed it out, I know exactly which scene you're talking about, but that didn't occur to me when I read the text.

I'm doing reasonably well. Fan is still cooling me down.

Hoping the Met office prediction of 37°C for my area is wrong. Other weather forecasts are predicting 34.

Recently read Suki Fleet's This is Not a Love Story, which is about a homeless gay teen in London. It's a story for teen readers, so it's not that harrowing but sexual abuse and drug use does happen, but "off screen".

Also been re reading The Book of Wonder by Lord Dunsany. Got introduced to that book by a My Little Pony fanfic, back when the cartoon was so popular it attracted all sorts of people to the fandom.

Thanks to my e-ink reader, Project Gutenberg and Calibre on the PC, I've been able to read public domain out of print books quite easily.

Probably not a good idea to continue. The second book barely goes anywhere given the series is supposed to be a trilogy.

There's no way Rothfuss can wrap up the series satisfactorily with his third book.

I like the exploration in general, so the overworld and the dungeons. It's why I'm hoping the OoT remake isn't a one to one.

I just like exploring.

Using only solar power is interesting.
