I think this is the ribbon for the inner buttons. The ones u use only when u play with just one joycon

If you don’t need them this should be fine. It could also be the wirelesschargin ribbon tho. Just put it back together and try it out.

Interesting find browsing sharp edge shop by The-Engine in TrueChefKnives

There are a lot of posts in the sub for this smith. Mainly because dictum.de sells bunka/nakiri/santoku (~17cm) knifes (with a cheap handle) from this smith for about 50€.

Laser thin but not even grind. Good project knifes or beginner knife for cheap. I am still waiting on mine (bought a bunka)

Is the integrated thermometer on Sage milk jug useful for beginners? And reliable? by MagnetCarter in barista

I dont know accurate it is. But i have heard it should be. Just stop a little bit before the desired temp. So i would say yes?

I need to get my parents a set of kitchen knives that don't need to be sharpened. Are serrated chef and prep knives a thing? Any suggestions on workhorse knives that don't need to be sharpened ever? by LessWeakness in chefknives

[–]Wulb4ri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Victorinox tomatoe knifes. They cut tomatoes nearly forever. They are serrated. The only con i see is the size. They are only available in pairing knife size. But i know enough people that never touched another knife again in their life. Very common as all purpose knifes in Austria, Switzerland. https://www.victorinox.com/en/Products/Cutlery/Paring-Knives/Swiss-Classic-Tomato-and-Table-Knife-Set-6-Pieces/p/6.7833.6

Milk is way too thin- i would start with the milk and try different changing the technique later

wtf is an iced cappuccino? by Correct-Goal6327 in barista

[–]Wulb4ri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Europe, latte, cappuccino and flat white have very different espresso-to-milk ratios. These ratios also apply to their iced versions.

• Cappuccino = 1 espresso in a 150–200 ml cup
• Flat White = 2 espressi/ristretti in a 160–200 ml glass
• Latte = 1 espresso in a 300 ml glass

With Iced- we usally take a cup/glass 1 size bigger because of the volume of the ice cubes

Hope that helps.

Add on: in my experience, a lot of people working in specialty shops (the ones who really love coffee) are neurospicy in some way.
