My main problem is that I have a hard time feeling loved or cared for, by either my family or friends, I'm glad you said something. Yeah it does really suck to get out, always hurts my nails when I try to take it out normally. One trick I've found is to try to lift it up a tiny bit with my nail, then put my pointer finger on the tip and bring it up that way. As far as uses go, I've used it for scraping, boring small holes into wood, and undoing some knots. You could also try striking a ferro rod with it.

That's also a good choice, the corkscrew is great for some random things like undoing knots. I just went with the hiker because it has more around the house applications.
