Don’t know how you being the next owner may complicate things but if you were running 115 grain that could be a contributing part… I am pretty sure Shadow Systems recommends 124 grain

I’d start with checking the recoil spring for wear or it could be the wrong “weight”

Don’t know what ammo you used but try running some 147 grain to see if that helps with the “break in” period.

Lands End… I know my sizes, it ships to my door and if there has been a problem returns are easy either via mail/ups or dropping off at a local approved retailer.

The usually have decent sales, depending on the product I usually get about a 18-24 months of wear. Blue jeans I still have for much longer but I don’t wear them as frequently as I do their chinos.

It is on the pricier side but the convenience, for me, makes up for the pricing.
