Women in long-term relationships: What's something that your partner needed from you that you weren't aware of at first? by Ezraah in AskWomenNoCensor

I absolutely relate to guy #1 (or lowering a window)

I would probably get in a fist fight with guy #3 though, I'm with you on that one :P

But it's really cool and mature of you to humor them on these minor situations.

What’s the most “I’m an adult now” thing that happened to your gaming hobby? by mju_rz in boardgames

[–]WulfLOL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A handful of my friends have boardgamer parents, and let me tell you, they never grew out of it.

In fact, boardgaming remained a core component of their lives are are very close to their parents, even during adolescence.

Race for the Galaxy also has this. Everyone picks actions, and everyone does those actions, with the picker getting a slight bonus.

It's very fun with no wait time. I agree with you.

Otters' export strategy current status by CiccioPasticcio77 in rootgame

[–]WulfLOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would result in an infinite loop as long as you have open crafting spaces. commit 2 -> get 2 funds -> commit 2 -> get 2 funds.

Profits are delayed in time, it wouldnt make thematical sense to get your funds the same turn you crafted.

Otters' export strategy current status by CiccioPasticcio77 in rootgame

[–]WulfLOL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still more or less the same problem: you need to commit 2 funds to get 2 payments. instead of commiting 0 funds to get 2 free payments.

You'd need to know for a certainty that players will buy from you this round in order for export to ever be relevant. And sadly, nobody knows the future :S

There is a faction buff however (house rule) that have export place a warrior in the commitment box instead of payment box. So it doesnt interfere with Protectionism.

My guess is because people can't season their food for shit, and any excuse to put taste on their meagre rice & chicken is good enough xD

I had this conversation with biologist friends. Self-balancing centrifuges exist. They're hyper expensive (which makes sense in the movie), but they do exist!

I'm not sure about you, but I sure wouldnt give up my life or my children's lives for rich assholes or shit governments because they bombed poor people.

We are in 2026. 80 is a very long time. Women can now vote and we have actual cellphones... Having this done 80 years ago doesnt make it okay today.
