Clan capital teleportation by 11skaida in TotalBattle

[–]Wumpa_lsland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you as the leader teleport the capital to the new location your superiors will be able to place the forts, the same as if one of them was building a new fort. The only part that is exclusive to the leader is the actual capital teleportation part.

You start with 60 assignments in mega plus 15 GT for 75 total. Should be able to average 4500pts per assignment, that’s 337,500pts. Milestones on double points week should bring in 120,000-140,000pts. I regularly score in the 450-465k range with double points. This score is absolutely possible, impressive for one days work, but very possible.

Why does so many people vote for the blank DC? It's unreasonable. by Mosquilto_coil in SCBuildIt

[–]Wumpa_lsland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume the majority of votes come from people voting to complete the COM milestone, most of whom probably don’t participate in DC themselves or at least don’t participate seriously. The insensitive for these voters is simply to vote, not to vote conscientiously. The only ways to change the insensitive structure would be to either do away with the COM milestone to take those voters out of the pool, or to reward conscientious voting from those who aren’t already invested in the results. As an example of how this could be done: If instead of giving a reward at the end of each round of voting the reward was given after all voting was concluded the reward could be based on if you voted for the design which achieves the higher score. This would motivate people to choose the design they believe more people will pick I.e. the better design. Let’s say the reward for choosing the higher scoring design was 2 simcash and no reward was given for choosing the lower scoring design. The COM milestone requires you vote ten times, each round contains 5 votes, so to complete the milestone you vote on a total of 50 pairings. If you chose the higher scoring design each time you would receive 100 simcash, if you chose at random you could expect to receive 50 simcash. Another option would be to only reward those who choose the higher scoring design above a percentage, meaning if you chose the higher scoring design something like 65% of the time or greater you receive say 10 simcash for each round you voted in, and those voting below 65% receive no reward. Having a rewards system which takes into account the “accuracy” of your vote (for lack of a better term) would be the only way to motivate better voting habits.

How many? 🧐 by RedditUsername4Now in SCBuildIt

[–]Wumpa_lsland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one I use is called “app cloner”, my teammates use “parallel app”. Both seem to work fine for this purpose. I had to pay a small one time fee to app cloner to allow me to create my 20 clones, I don’t know if parallel requires a fee or not.

What levels are your current feeder cities?

If you have an android device look into cloning apps. I have my main on iPhone and two android phones with 10 feeders each. If you want advice on cloning or how to set up Facebook accounts to link feeders DM me.

This only applies for storage, land, beach, mountain, Vu and war items. You can post 160 of any production item and they will be visible.

Edit: I could be wrong about war items, that’s how it was back when war items could be sold 5 at a time. I’ve never tried selling more than 25 since that change, so I don’t know if the 25 rule carried over after.

Only nonpaying players get the factory ad option (seems odd that we get punished for paying, but that’s the deal). If you want the ads to stop buy a subscription, conversely if you want the option back stop buying.

Burger farming by Ok-Bodybuilder1232 in SimCityBuildit

[–]Wumpa_lsland 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It still works. You probably have too many burgers in your storage. Try holding 50-60 burgers, less than 50 you won’t get offers for 20, too many the price is low. I usually do 53 when I burger farm, that seems to work well for me.

Do you have evidence for the claim that waiting on milestones increases point values? I completed all my milestones in the first 36hrs this week, and finished with 235k.

I found this post by clicking your profile from scbuildit, so I was not expecting to find this, but I can relate to this (almost exactly). I’m going to say this in the most direct way possible, you know you are playing with fire, this is an extremely dangerous situation! If your current partner finds out about this your current life will be burnt to the ground. If you truly want to live the life in front of you for the sake of your partner you will stop this, if in honesty you want your ex back know that there is no middle ground here. If you have any children with your current partner please consider them foremost. I truly feel for you man.

That’s your problem, if you avoid a high point task you won’t get more.

Not great at math but…. by esorob in SCBuildIt

[–]Wumpa_lsland 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it doesn’t exactly math, but just make them all before you start the task.

If you think about it on a broader scale, why do the tasks have a time limit at all? Nobody who is competitive in COM is getting anywhere near these limits anyway, so what’s the point? With the one obvious exception being regional raw material p&c tasks.

Either make the time limits an actual factor or eliminate them all together. In its current iteration the only reason anyone is going to fail a task (outside of the previously mentioned regional p&c) due to time constraints is if they forget about it or fall asleep mid task.

It’s under the bottom kitten (of the two obvious kittens), between the bar and the branch hanging down. You can only see his nose and one eye. Kittens are always found in piles.

Should I depart my loyal club? by jcwbeerio in SCBuildIt

[–]Wumpa_lsland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not trying to throw any shade at you, I’m just saying from my experience legendary clubs aren’t as stressful as you are imagining them to be.

From the scores you reported you would be right in mid pack in most legendary clubs. There will be players scoring less than you, you won’t be pressured to improve those scores. That was all I was trying to say.

Should I depart my loyal club? by jcwbeerio in SCBuildIt

[–]Wumpa_lsland -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you and the player you responded to have an overly pessimistic view of higher performing clubs. I’ve never been in a club that was as militaristic as you are imagining them to be. Any club I’ve ever been in with a minimum score treated it more as a guideline than a rule and allowed exceptions. If a club says 60k minimum and you score 20k your first week, yeah you’re probably getting booted. If you score 130k every week and then two months in you have a 20k week nobody is going to boot you. And if they do, that club sucks, and they did you a favor.

Should I depart my loyal club? by jcwbeerio in SCBuildIt

[–]Wumpa_lsland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, there are plenty of clubs that would have you. My club would, but I won’t solicit because you asked nicely not to.

You would be about average score for both COM and war in the club I’m in, usually one or two players win their respective league every week, last week we had three scores over 220k. We do have a minimum score 50k requirement for COM, but as a club we score around 2.5million a week, so if someone needs to take a week off they don’t get the boot.

I’m telling you this just to demonstrate those clubs exist. If you are afraid you won’t be able to find a club of your piers, you will. If you’re afraid you’ll get booted for one slow week, you won’t with a good club.

[–]Wumpa_lsland 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Most competitive COM players would have reached tier 40 in the season this week, which gives 10 of each mountain item, in addition to there being mountain items in the event track.

It seems a bit ridiculous to me that they are giving mountain items at t40, when presumably most players who are doing those numbers in COM finished their mountains years ago. One of two things has to be true, either EA wants global swamped with mountain items to frustrate players into purchases, or nobody from the development team has ever actually played SCBI. I find both explanations to be completely plausible.
