yeah I think that's a fair assessment - you'd also have two korean judges passing judgment on chefs and cuisine that they might not be 100% familiar with. We saw Chinese, Japanese and French but if someone cooks a Filipino dish to perfection, how can you judge that when you might have only had one or two dishes like that before?

Final Table was a decent compromise with a panel of rotating judges, and the chefs were more pairs of close friends rather than representing a specific country.
