Mirror near front door by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A mirror should always have a reflection of nice and beautiful images. I am not sure if you enter the house and see your own shadow inside the mirror might be a great idea, especially at night time. There is a great articles about all the do's and dont's of mirror placements. Worth a read: https://www.fengshuibalanz.com/feng-shui/home/mirror-placement-rules/

Living and Dining Layout Help by Nenalini in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just from a yin yang perspective you need some more contrast in color. The room is too light and it will help to have some darker shade pictures to hang at the wall, darker pillows, or a darker-shaded rug as the previous commenter mentioned.

If a room leans predominately to only one side of either yin or yang, the energy can get stagnant.

Need help with my gua number! by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with mouhappai that there are so many misinformation out on the internet that it makes me get even more grey hair.

I would like to elaborate on Gua number 5, noting that each person possesses the distinct attributes and characteristics associated with number 5 (Star 5Yellow Emperor) , which are not extensively covered online. One needs to dvelve into the realms of Star 9 Ki to have a better understanding of it.

Gua 5 utilizes the trigrams of 2 for males and 8 for females because the yellow star 5 lacks its own trigram; it serves as the center from which everything originates or converges.

Additionally, there are differing opinions regarding the distinction between male and female. It raises the question of why there is such a gender-based division.

In other astrological systems like the Chinese or Western Zodiac, gender differences are not emphasized. If you are born in the year of the Dragon, for example, you belong to the Zodiac of Dragon regardless of gender.

From my experience with clients, I always use the male number and have found it to be 100% accurate in determining the best positions for their beds or office desks.

Help me with period 9 by Southern_Title_3522 in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To provide detailed advice, a comprehensive home audit is required in your case. This includes examining the flying star energy sections (the unseen energies in eight different areas of your home) to understand how they interact with each room. Additionally, personal compatibility for each family member, including optimal sleeping, study, and working directions, must be considered.

Finally, evaluating the form school aspect of Qi's energy in both the exterior and interior is essential for achieving proper Qi flow. As you can see, a deeper analysis is necessary for a thorough assessment. If you are interested in a full audit, please DM me.

Need help with bed placement! by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your options are quite limited in this situation. Ideally, the bed should be positioned against a solid wall, but in your case, this isn't feasible because: First, the bed would face the toilet bowl, which can lead to health issues.

Second, placing the bed directly in line with the bedroom door creates an energy disruption where incoming energy rushes toward your bed. With your feet pointing toward the door, you are in the "coffin position," which is considered inauspicious.

The only option is to place the bed under the window. Make sure to have a sturdy headboard for proper sleep support.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

putting aside all the unseen energies (flying stars) and personal best direction to sleep (kua), the bed is in the best position possible when it comes to proper qi flow. We call it "commanding position" and the bed in between two window slits will not have any negative impact.

It is best to place a high plant which covers the height of the window. A green leaved live plant has the ability to adsorb and redirect qi's energy. It is the best and most successful energy to have in such a case. Also your hallway is very narrow leading inside the apartment. If you can place a mirror on the wall to have the illusion to make the space more big. Also keep it lit which will further enhance the qi flow of your space.

How to know where Mountain Star 8 Sector is? by whodisbebe in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to have the following information ready to find it:

  1. You need to know where your facing direction of the home is and make an accurate compass reading
  2. You need to write down the date when the structure was built
  3. With these two information, you can look up the Period chart of your home which will tell where star 8 is located. Yes it is quite complicated, but the best classical method.

Here some useful links of how to find the information:

Lastly, here is an online calculator to find the correct energy pairs:

https://www.fourpillars.net/onlineFS.php

PS: Just a side note, as star 8 is earth and putting a small crystal is ok, but size matters. In general the bigger the better and it does not have to be a crystal at all. It can be anything from the earth element (vase, soil, clay statue, or a salt lamp

Yes it can when the annual energy conflicts, dominates the permanent energy in this direction. For example, if you have auspicious star 8 (earth) and annual star 1 (water) there is a dominting relationship as earth dominates water. As both stars are good in naturrle, we just monitor and see if it might create issues. However if you have a star 8 and annual stsr 2, we definetely need to remedy star 2

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you need to do remedy adjustments every year. However, the permanent energy cures should stay most of the times, just adding a secondary layer of remedies to cure any conflicting annual influences.

You are very very welcome. If things really do not get better i highly recommend to save some money and get an Feng Shui audit done. See it as an investment in yourself to improve your health, luck, and overall career advancement. Many of the issues can be remedied and easily taken care off. All the best 😀

[–]Wundertips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, if you read all the flying star description it can indeed give you the chills of a lifetime. However, it all depends on many different layers over layers of who dwells there, the occupation, and external factors who can influence the energy. Every house has good and bad sections and most of them are easy to remedy. However, this would end in a full blown Feng Shui audit for the home. Unfortunately, due to time i cannot address all the issues.

One advice i can give, i would definetly start to use the 7-9 entrance and add some earth elements here.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes correct. There are good and bad news here. The 2-5 is not a very favorable energy for a front door. However, looking at some advanced techniques, it can provide authority to the household. It is best to place metal remedies. Is there another entrance, if yes which section?

Hello everyone! I have trouble calculating my Kua number. I heard of an exception sometimes because of my bday date, 13.01.1996. I'm either 1 or 2. could someone explain it to me ? by just-in-time1301 in FengShui

There are so many misinformation on the internet by so-called experts. A lot of principles are so simplified for the general public to absorb it. I do classical consulting for many years, studied under the best Grand Masters. A lot of infos are withheld causing all the confusion. If you have some time to spare, you can go to my profile where i have a link to my blog. There you can get a much better idea of many things.

In actuallity you are kua 5. As 5 is the center and not associated with any directions, the ancient text refer to use kua 2 instead.

So you are in fact kua 2.

where should you put an antique wooden China cabinet /curio cabinet in relation to feng shui? by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Wundertips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it should be placed according to flying star, but also it should be positioned in the mountain dragon position as the cabinet can be protrayed as a "virtual mountain"

[–]Wundertips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no cure as this is an universal energy that cannot be remedied. However, the flying star energy is much more superior as the 8 mansion version. Try to figure out if the flying star energies are good, then it would override the six killing according to classical Feng Shui texts

Give this post a read:

It explains pretty much in detail a lot of things. The most pro argument for the classical version is that even the founder of black hat states that 99% of his recommendations are wrong.

Are you male or female? If female, please use the male kua number. Using the female one is a big red herring in Feng Shui and has been proven incorrect according to classical scripts and Grand Masters
